Lawrenceville Ghost Tour

7:30 p.m. at Lawrenceville Square. It's the month of terrors, so get yourself to Lawrenceville Square for a haunted stroll through the night. The 90-minute walking tour of Metro Atlanta's oldest city is fun — and terrifying — for both adults and children. Tickets are $6 - $7.50. Tuesday, Oct. 27

The Pumpkin Patch

Weekdays from 4-7 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Yule Forest Highway 155. Ring in the new season at this family-operated farm. "Costumes on the Woof" party

6-8 p.m. at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. No one needs an excuse to dress up their favorite pooch. Bring yours for a fun costume contest that benefits Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Celebrity guest judges are looking for the most "shriek-worthy" winners. Tour of Southern Ghosts

Thursdays and  Sundays, 7 - 9 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 7 - 9:30 p.m. at Stone Mountain Park. Looking for more haunted fun? Bring friends, family or a date out to Stone Mountain as you listen to storytellers in costumes fill your imagination with folk tales, ghosts of Civil and Revolutionary War times and more. Atlantic Station Fall Festival

|4-7 p.m. at Atlantic Station. This family-friendly fest features face painting, mask and necklace decorating and more. Tickets can be purchased for each activity from $1-$5 at Central Park. Don't forget to stay for a viewing of "Hocus Pocus" on the green as part of Atlantic Station's Spooky Film Fest.

Spooky Film Fest

Saturday, Oct. 31

Avalon Trick or Treating

10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Avalon in Alpharetta. Bring the kids for a family-friendly trick-or-treating event this Halloween. Retailers will hand out candy and treats all day. Begin at the concierge and make your way around to retailers marked with a window decal. Participating retailers will give out stickers for children to track their trick-or-treating journey. Children who complete the map will be entered for a family fun pack prize.

Avalon Trick or Drink

4-9 p.m. at Avalon in Alpharetta. Halloween is for adults too, right? Participating restaurants marked by a window decal will be offering drink specials and treats to adults. Begin at the concierge and make your way around, gaining a sticker at each participating restaurant to complete your trick-or-drink map. Complete your map to enter to win a special prize.

UGA vs. UF Viewing Party

3:30-9 p.m. at Avalon in Alpharetta. Don't worry, football fans, The Plaza at Avalon is holding a tailgate for the big game this Halloween. Enjoy lawn games, a large viewing screen, food, drinks and more.

Legacy Music at Johnny's Hideaway
