SweetWater 420 Festival
Kid Rock, the Roots, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Bastille, Ludacris, Awolnation, Rebelution, Michael Franti & Spearhead, the Disco Biscuits and Cypress Hill are just some of the artists who will perform at the 12th annual music festival, which this year falls on Earth Day weekend. Last year, about 75,000 people attended the gathering during its three-day run, injecting about $4.97 million into the local economy, according to festival research. Let it Be: A Celebration of the Music of the Beatles
This tribute to the Fab Four debuted in London’s West End in 2012, then moved to Broadway for a few months the following year. The show — with four musicians dressed like the guys — traces the Beatles’ rise from Liverpool’s Cavern Club through the height of Beatlemania and their studio creations. More than 40 Beatles song are packed into the production, including “She Loves You,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude” and, well, yes, “Let it Be.”

Esperanza Spalding
The exquisite jazz bassist has billed this show as Emily’s D+ Evolution after the album she released in March with longtime David Bowie producer Tony Visconti at the helm. Spalding, who has earned four Grammys — including her memorable best new artist trophy in 2011, the first jazz artist to win in that category — titled her latest project after her middle name, as well as “the spirit-muse that flows through this multi-dimensional, theatrical performance artwork.”

Celtic Woman
The Irish favorites are primarily performing songs from their latest album, "Destiny," on this current U.S. tour, but also will include traditional Irish songs and contemporary pieces from artists that include Ed Sheeran and the Waterboys. Though Celtic Woman — vocalists Mairéad Carlin, Susan McFadden, Éabha McMahon and Celtic violinist Máiréad Nesbitt — frequently visit Atlanta, this tour will showcase a new production, as well as the Adele medley that recently turned their choir members Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy into Internet sensations.

Van Morrison
This is a return for Morrison, who played Alpharetta in May 2010. The renowned Irish singer behind such classics as “Have I Told You Lately” and “Moondance” released “Duets: Re-working the Catalogue” last year. The project features new arrangements of lesser-known Van Morrison tracks, with guests including Mavis Staples, Michael Buble and Taj Mahal. In February, Morrison was knighted by Prince Charles for services to the music industry and tourism in Northern Ireland, so if you see him around town, make sure to address him as Sir.

Toby Mac
The veteran contemporary Christian music singer will play after the Braves-Mets game at Turner Field as one of this year's Faith Days concerts. The former DC Talk member, who won his third Grammy this year for his latest effort, "This Is Not a Test," has sold more than 11 million albums in his 15-year solo career. Concert admission is included in a game ticket.

The Smashing Pumpkins
The '90s alt-rock heroes launched their “In Plainsong” tour last month and are regaling fans with an acoustic-electro show. The band – Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and Jeff Schroeder -- is expected to return to the studio after this tour to work on the follow-up to its 2014 album, “Monuments to an Elegy. Liz Phair is the opening act for the two-month run, making it her first full tour of the U.S. in six years.

Stars of Nashville
Just in time for the May 13 release of “The Music of Nashville, Season 4, Volume 2,” stars of the ABC music drama will showcase their real-life musical chops. Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Aubrey Peeples and Charles Esten are on deck for the Atlanta date and will perform a combination of original music and songs from the show. This isn’t the first time members of the cast have displayed their authentic musical talent in concert, but it is the first time they’re bringing the “Nashville” tour to Atlanta.
