It's Good Friday, and by happenstance it's also the 74th birthday of Miss Aretha Franklin. So what better way to meld the sacred with the secular than to feature Aretha and the great Mavis Staples performing "Oh Happy Day," an ancient hymn given new life in the black gospel tradition.
