RB Russell Halimon of Allatoona, QB Kyle Banks of North Paulding and WR Andrew Harris of Cherokee are the leaders in GHSF Daily's first statewide yardage leaderboard.
Halimon and Etowah's Raishod Devizen are within 200 yards of 1,000, but their teams are off this week, so the first 1,000-yard rusher likely is not imminent.
Banks is a first-year starter taking over for all-state QB Chase Noonan, who threw for 2,600 yards last season. Harris is part of Cherokee's pass-first offense directed by Spencer Ashley.
The state leaderboard will be a weekly Friday feature of GHSF Daily. It is expected that there will be omissions in the early weeks. Verified additions will be added.
