How the game was won: Woodward never trailed and scored 23 unanswered points in the second quarter to pull away from host Troup. The War Eagles churned out 284 yards of offense while remaining undefeated on the season. They excelled in almost all areas in this one, scoring touchdowns through the air, on the ground, with a kickoff return, a punt return and on an interception return.

Top performers: Woodward quarterback Ryan Glover completed 12 of 21 passes for 221 yards and opened the night's scoring with a 13-yard touchdown strike to Sultan Shabazz. Glover also rushed for a three-yard score in the second quarter. ... Joshua Johnson returned a kickoff 78 yards to the endzone and Jeffrey Hubbard added a 62-yard punt return for a touchdown. ... Xavion Fleetwood returned an interception 75 yards for the War Eagles' final touchdown. ... Jalen Polk had a pair of third-quarter touchdown runs to pad Woodward's lead.
