In Class AAA, Decatur’s 18-0 start improved the Bulldogs to No. 1 ahead of 12-4 Blessed Trinity. Jefferson jumped from No. 6 to the top 5 after posting an impressive 13-4 start, despite a two-set loss to the top-ranked Bulldogs on Saturday. Jefferson fell (25-19, 25-22) in the non-area tilt.

Class AAAAAA Lassiter suffered its first loss of the season to Norcross (2-1) and fell one spot to No. 4. The Blue Devils improved from No. 10 to No. 6 with the win over the Trojans. North Cobb dropped three straight matches last week (Marist, Buford, Columbus) and fell to No. 9.

In Class AAAAA, Union Grove replaced Columbia and debuted at No. 10. North Oconee jumped North Hall for No. 5 in Class AAAA. North Hall lost a three-set match to Fellowship Christian on Saturday and the Titans scored impressive wins over North Gwinnett, Brookwood, Peachtree Ridge and Grayson.

Class AAAA remains one of the most talented classifications in the state as unbeaten and top-ranked Buford tops seven-time state champion Marist (8-1) for No. 1.
