Week 6 Softball Rankings

East Coweta leads Class AAAAAAA ahead of a top 5 that did not shift. Archer climbed from No. 9 to No. 6. Mountain View moved up one spot to No. 7 and Hillgrove moved up from No. 10 to No. 8. Etowah fell to No. 10.

In Class AAAAAA Houston County is the team to beat and a new No. 2, Evans, is in the fray. Dacula is No. 3 this week, up four spots. Creekview fell from No. 2 to No. 5 this week. Locust Grove leads Class AAAAA again this week ahead of No. 2 Walnut Grove. Starr’s Mill moved up one spot to No. 3 this week and Carrollton fell one spot to No. 4. Buford holds the No. 5 spot again in this week’s poll.

Eastside is at the top of Class AAAA after overtaking Northwest Whitfield, which fell one spot to No. 2. Northside-Columbus is up from No. 5 to No. 3 with Marist falling to No. 5. In Class AAA, Ringgold is the team to beat this week ahead of No. 2 Calhoun. East Hall is No. 3 this week, up from No. 4. Franklin County is No. 5 again this week.

Banks County is still at the top of Class AA with Heard County chasing at No. 2. Rockmart is up one spot to No. 4 and Vidalia moved from No. 9 to No. 5 this week. In Class A-Public, Gordon Lee leads again with Trion and Marion County chasing at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Schley County climbed one spot to No. 4 and Bowdon rounds out the top 5. Wesleyan is the team to beat in Class A-Private again this week with George Walton, Tattnall Square and Mount de Sales chasing. Strong Rock Christian is up from No. 6 to No. 5 this week.
