Undefeated Lambert leads the state’s highest classification ahead of Parkview, Lassiter, Peachtree Ridge and North Gwinnett. The Longhorns have given up just four goals this year and are coming off victories over Forsyth Central 2-0 and West Forsyth 4-0 on the road. Parkview lost to J.L. Mann on March 23 but since then, the Panthers have won four-straight over Meadowcreek 10-0, Central Gwinnett 10-0, Pope 6-1 and Brookwood 2-1.
Johns Creek leads Class AAAAAA ahead of Dacula, Harrison, Glynn Academy and Heritage-Conyers. Johns Creek lost on the road to Class AAAAAAA No. 6 Brookwood 4-0 on April 9 but rebounded with a victory over Northview 2-0 on April 12. Dacula dropped a match to Gainesville 4-3 on March 26 but responded with victories over Lanier 3-1 on the road and Habersham Central 6-1 at home.
In Class AAAAA, McIntosh is the team to beat ahead of Decatur, Starr’s Mill, Veterans and Buford. McIntosh lost to Class AAAA St. Pius X on March 22 4-0 but since, it’s won three matches over Riverdale 12-0, Starr’s Mill 6-1 and Griffin 10-0.
Undefeated Columbus is on the top of the Class AAAA standings ahead of Flowery Branch, St. Pius X, Marist and Blessed Trinity. Since entering April, Columbus has victories over Carver-Columbus 10-0, Grayson 3-1 and East Coweta 1-0. Its goal allowed against Grayson was just the fifth goal allowed on the year for Columbus.
Westminster is leading Class AAA ahead of Pike County, Dawson County, Greater Atlanta Christian and Jackson County. The Wildcats have three victories in April over Marist 2-1, Lovett 4-0 and Campbell 6-0. Westminster will face undefeated Class A-Private No. 1 First Presbyterian Day on April 16 which will test its mettle.
St. Vincent’s leads Class AA ahead of Vidalia, Lamar County, Bremen and Model. The Saints lost 5-0 to Glynn Academy on April 9 but responded with a 6-3 victory over No. 2 Vidalia on the road. It will face Richmond Hill on April 18 for its final regular season game.
Undefeated First Presbyterian Day leads Class A-Private ahead of Pinecrest Academy, Brookstone, Athens Academy and Eagle’s Landing Christian. Georgia Military is atop the Class A-Public standings ahead of Atlanta Classical Academy, Drew Charter, Lake Oconee Academy and Towns County.
