  • The Walton Lady Eagles put their No. 2 ranking in AAAAAA on the line last week during their spring break, traveling to Baltimore for an event at Notre Dame Prep. The Lady Raiders went 0-3 at the even, losing to Notre Dame Prep, Manchester Valley (Md.) and St. Stephen's & Agnes (D.C.).
  • The Centennial Lady Knights used their spring break to rest, but did travel to Florida at the beginning of the month and went 1-1, with one game cancelled due to weather. They lost 10-9 to West Orange before beating Manual (Ky.) 19-0. Julia Couch leads the Lady Knights with 69 goals, 43 assists and 49 draw controls. Abigail Bergman has a team-high 10 forced turnovers and five interceptions to go with 21 ground balls and 21 ball controls. Their next game is Thursday, which concludes 11 days of rest.
  • One of the busier teams since Thursday was the Lovett Lions, who went 2-1. They beat two teams with losing records in Mount De Sales and Stratford Academy - both by a score of 15-2 - but lost 9-7 to No. 4 Westminster. It's possible the loss knocks them from the top 10, but in the same token the loss could reaffirm their position since the match was close.
  • The Pope Greyhounds were the only other ranked team to lose since Thursday on the boys' side, falling 10-7 to McCallie School (Chattanooga, Tenn.) on April 9. The Greyhounds likely fall in the rankings with McCallie unranked in Tennessee according to LaxPower.com.
