Things to know: Tucker is giving up just 9.9 points per game and held Harrison 29 points below its average in a 23-7 victory last week. Chris Broadwater rushed for 95 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 868 yards for the season. The Tigers average about 248 yards rushing, led by Taurean Taylor with 1,204 yards. Tucker's second-round loss last year ended a five-year streak of reaching the quarterfinals. Mays was a state runner-up in 2014 but is in the quarterfinals for just the second time. The Raiders rallied from a 22-8 halftime deficit to beat Lee County 35-22 last week. QB B.J. Phillips threw a touchdown pass and ran for two scores in the second half, and Ferlando Jordan returned an interception 48 yards for a TD.

Things to know: Northside reached the 10-win mark for the 18th time in 19 seasons with a 38-10 victory over Hughes last week. It put the Eagles in the quarterfinals for the 12th time during that stretch. Northside has held all but one opponent to 14 points or less this season. QB Tobias Oliver has passed for 1,428 yards and rushed for 1,257 yards and has a combined 27 touchdowns. Glynn Academy avenged a loss to Allatoona in last year's state final with a 47-7 victory to move into the quarterfinals for the third consecutive season. The Red Terrors rushed for 323 yards, led by 123 from QB Deejay Dallas, who surpassed 1,000 for the season. Kendall Cross, who came into the game with 1,298 yards rushing, added 96.

Last meeting: Valdosta won 31-28 in the 2001 Class AAAAA quarterfinals.
Things to know: Stephenson, the only No. 3 seed remaining in the Class AAAAAA bracket, is in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2012 and trying to reach its first semifinal since 2005. Jaylen Marson-Knight ran for 137 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 20-6 victory over Dacula last week. He is the leading rusher in DeKalb County with 1,558 yards. Valdosta is in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2010 and hasn't played in the semifinals since 2003, when it lost to Camden County in the AAAAA championship game. The Wildcats advanced with a 35-0 victory over Northgate last week. Northgate held Valdosta to 79 yards passing, but the Wildcats rushed for 236 yards despite injuries to running backs Jeremiah Proctor and Tevin Gray.

Last meeting: This is the teams' first meeting.
Things to know: Coffee is the only No. 4 seed remaining in any classification (excluding Class A) and will be playing in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2008. The Trojans scored just 44 total points in a three-game losing streak to close the regular season but have averaged 49 in two playoff victories, including 42-34 against Alexander last week. QB Max Hughes (2,661 yards) and RB Demetrius Davis (1,067 yards) were the No. 2 passer and rusher in Region 1 during the regular season. Dalton, the only undefeated team in Class AAAAAA, advanced to its first quarterfinal since 2005 with a 24-14 victory over Lovejoy. Ahmaad Tanner rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns against Lovejoy, giving him 1,252 and 19 for the season.
