Lincoln County's state record of 44 consecutive playoff appearances ended officially on Monday, when the GHSA released the Power Ratings that determined the Class A playoff bracket. Lincoln County finished with a 4-6 record and was ranked 27th in the public-school ratings. The top 24 move on to the postseason. Now, only three schools have made the playoffs each season since the GHSA went to four playoff teams per region in 1996. What schools are they? (Answer Wednesday)

Answer to Monday's question: The six No. 1-ranked teams that lost in the playoffs last year were Lowndes to McEachern in the second round, Tucker to Coffee in the quarterfinals, Cartersville to Blessed Trinity in the second round, Cedar Grove to Calhoun in the semifinals, Benedictine to Hapeville Charter in the quarterfinals and Manchester to Mount Zion (Carroll) in the quarterfinals.
