Kyle Wilkie's best sport is baseball. He's a catcher who is committed to Clemson.
The Creekview senior showed off his arm on Friday, when he passed for 487 yards in a 33-21 victory over Rome.
"It was just one of those games where Kyle got hot and we knew going in we were going to have to throw the ball," Creekview coach Terry Crowder said. "Receivers made some great catches."

*Bremen PK Jake Verity kicked a 63-yard field goal in a 17-14 victory over Rockmart. The distance is the third-longest in state history.
*Creekview QB Kyle Wilkie was 27-of-42 passing for 487 yards and four touchdowns in a 33-21 victory over Rome.
*Jackson County RB Malik Tuck rushed for 351 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries in a 34-28 victory over East Hall.
*Landmark Christian RB Lofton Tidwell rushed for 317 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in a 30-7 victory over Josey.
*Lowndes QB Austin Dixon was 14-of-17 passing for 215 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries in a 56-7 victory over Newton.
Best of the rest
*Allatoona RB Russell Halimon rushed for 260 yards and one touchdown on 35 carries in a 25-18 victory over South Paulding.
*Banks County WR Zezmon Steeple caught nine passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns and returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown in a 44-18 victory over North Cobb Christian. Steeple also had a 32-yard kickoff return and 304 all-purpose yards.
*Blessed Trinity RB Milton Shelton scored six touchdowns in a 49-12 victory over Jackson (Atlanta). Shelton rushed for 239 yards on 19 carries.
*Brooks County QB Demontay Jones was 16-of-23 passing for 187 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 96 yards on 15 carries in a 34-7 victory over Perry.
*Brookstone DE Josh Long had one sack, three tackles for losses and six tackles overall, and scored a touchdown in a 14-0 victory over Hawkinsville.
*Central (Macon) RB/LB Antonio Sanders rushed for 136 yards on 21 carries, had five tackles and forced a fumble in a 24-21 overtime loss to Westside (Macon).
*Cherokee RB/DB Brittain Brown rushed for 270 yards and five touchdowns on 14 carries in a 58-14 victory over Pope. He also had eight tackles and broke up a pass.
*Christian Heritage QB Tyson Cooper rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown and was 14-of-20 passing for 268 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-28 victory over Fellowship Christian.
*Dacula DB DeMarco McInnis returned an interception 61 yards for a touchdown with 57 seconds left in a 14-7 victory over South Gwinnett.
*Eagle's Landing Christian DL Montery Boyd had six tackles for losses, 10 overall, in a 38-0 victory over Whitewater.
*Gainesville sophomore LB Craig Young had nine tackles, three for losses, in a 48-0 victory over Apalachee. Gainesville didn't allow a first down until the fourth quarter.
*Liberty County ATH/DB Richard LeCounte rushed for 117 yards, passed for 117 yards and had two receptions for 76 yards in a 20-18 victory over Monroe. LeCounte also returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, made eight tackles and forced a fumble. He had a 57-yard TD reception called back.
*Lincoln County PK Ryan O'Neill made a school-record 50-yard field goal in a 47-8 victory over Twiggs County.
*Locust Grove RB/LB Caleb Huntley rushed for 151 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries and recorded nine tackles, four solo, and two stops for losses in a 21-0 victory over Mount Zion (Jonesboro).
*Loganville FS Rhett Mixon returned two interceptions for touchdowns in a 27-20 victory over Winder-Barrow.
*Lovett RB Jay Harris rushed for 263 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in a 38-6 victory over B.E.S.T. Academy.
*Mays QB B.J. Phillips was 18-of-27 passing for 354 yards and four touchdowns - all to WR Randrecous Davis - in a 42-6 victory over Southwest DeKalb. Phillips rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.
*Miller County RB J.J. George rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns on 46 carries in a 14-13 victory over Seminole County. George scored the winning touchdown on a fourth-and-3 play in the final two minutes.
*Milton PK Ethan Suda made field goals of 45, 28, 39 and 23 yards in an 18-12 overtime victory over Lassiter. Duda put three of five kickoffs in the end zone and averaged 39.6 yards on seven punts.
*Norcross CB Da'Meon Williams intercepted four passes in a 30-7 victory over Mountain View.
*North Paulding WR D.J. Owens scored four touchdowns - two rushing, two receiving - in a 56-21 victory over Kennesaw Mountain. Owens had 143 yards receiving on four catches and 30 yards rushing on two carries.
*Northside (Warner Robins) QB Tobias Oliver rushed for 192 yards on 27 carries in a 36-22 victory over Jones County.
*Pinecrest Academy WR/S Carson Holler had three catches for 32 yards and a touchdown, completed a 52-yard pass, returned a punt 81 yards for a touchdown and made 15 tackles in a 27-24 victory over Trion. His punt return sent the game to overtime.
*Sequoyah QB Austin Tracy was 19-of-26 passing for 311 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-10 victory over River Ridge.
*Shaw QB B.J. Knight was 10-of-14 passing for 186 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 85 yards in a 45-17 victory over Northeast (Macon).
*Stephenson RB Jaylen Marson-Knight scored five touchdowns and rushed for 174 yards on 19 carries in a 49-12 victory over Creekside.
*Tattnall County RB Darius Mincey rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries in a 35-0 victory over Savannah. Mincey has rushed for 697 yards and eight touchdowns in four games.
*Taylor County sophomore QB Gunnar Watson was 9-of-10 passing for 187 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-13 victory over Schley County.
*Thomson DE Nick Moss had 14 tackles, two for losses, in a 49-6 victory over Washington-Wilkes.
*Upson-Lee RB Quay Reviere rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries in a 40-17 victory over Northside (Columbus).
*Walnut Grove LB Connor Hix had 12 tackles, eight first hits, two caused fumbles, two QB hurries and a sack in a 48-13 victory over Riverdale.
*Westminster LB Chase Williams had three solo sacks, 4.5 stops for losses and eight solo tackles, broke up a pass and blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown in a 32-8 victory over Towers.
Lines of distinction
*Allatoona's group of RT Devin Miller, RG Alex Lawrence, C Carter Francis, LG Brooks Walper, LT Austin Gibbs and TE Turner Cockrell led the way to Allatoona's 341 yards rushing in a critical Region 5-AAAAA victory over previously unbeaten South Paulding. RB Russell Halimon rushed for 260 yards on 35 carries.
*Benedictine's offensive line of LT Gage Blackston, LG Thaddeus Olsen, C Mills Thompson, RG Sanders Creech and RT Matthew Nyce opened holes for 301 yards rushing in a 49-15 victory over Bacon County. Creech returned a fumble 30 yards.
*Lamar County's offensive line of LT Isaac Cedano, LG Dilon Treadwell, C Michael Tenney, RG Chris O'Neal and RT LJ Owens paved the way for 386 yards rushing in a 27-14 victory over Ola. RB Juan Tucker had 136 yards rushing, and RB Andruw O'Neal had 134.
*Lumpkin County's offensive line of LT Zach Johns, LG Dalton Savage, C Zack Samples, RG Ben Brown, RT C.J. Wohlpart, TE Taylor Miller and TE Noah Denard were integral to their team's 428 yards rushing in a 40-14 victory over Our Lady of Mercy. Benefiting most was RB Zach Matthews, who had 259 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 24 carries.
*Miller County's offensive line and backfield of Patrick Price, Rashaan Berry, Tate Bryan, GJ Douglas, Ethan Faulkner, Dalton Gowan, Casey Givens, Jakobe Cooper, Austin Dollar and Jarrell Kimble helped RB J.J. George to a 200-yard rushing game in a 14-13 victory over Seminole County. Miller County's time of possession was 32:17.
*Swainsboro's offensive line of QT Jacob Ellis, QG Hunter Braswell, C Kylon Lopez, SG Keon Burke, ST Manny Aleman and TE Frank Lambry led the way for 418 yards rushing in a 36-20 victory over Butler.
