Asante Das, a senior wide receiver at Allatoona, is the GHSF Daily State Player of the Week for his performance Friday in a 38-21 victory over Sprayberry in a Region 6-AAAAAA game.

"Dante Marshall, the quarterback, is a good friend of his, and they've been playing together since middle school and have a good chemistry," Allatoona coach Gary Varner said. "They went man-to-man on him a lot to stop the running game, and he took advantage."
