- There were a few changes between the two boys polls, including Chattahoochee returning to the AAAAAA rankings at No. 10, replacing North Paulding. In A-AAAAA, Starr's Mill burst into the rankings at No. 6. The Panthers have a shiny record, however, they've only played one ranked opponent - No. 4 Lovett in late February - and lost 15-3. They have four games remaining, with their only ranked opponent being McIntosh on April 22.
- Can North Gwinnett run the tables on the regular season? The Bulldogs will come off a 10-day layoff to play St. Pius X on April 12, but their only remaining ranked opponent is A-AAAAA's No. 2 Allatoona, which doesn't come until April 18. They have four games remaining. The state's other undefeated team - Lambert - has six games remaining, including against No. 9 Walton on April 19.
- There was only a minor change to one poll, which came in A-AAAAA. St. Pius debuts at No. 9, with Creekview moving up a spot to No. 8. St. Pius replaced Creekview.
- Mill Creek is the lone ranked team that's still undefeated. The Lady Hawks have five games remaining, all against opponents with winning records. However, none of those opponents are ranked.
