How the game was won: Starr’s Mill took a 14-3 lead with a Ricco Frye touchdown run and Cole Gilley fumble recovery for a touchdown with 9:02 left in the first half. Dion Munerlyn would tack on another Panthers touchdown off a pass from Joey Deluca that pushed the lead to 21-9 but two first half touchdown receptions by Dutchtown's D.J. Montgomery kept it tight 21-16 at intermission. Dutchtown took a 23-21 lead after its first drive of the second half resulted in K'lin Epps finding David Dennis for a 56-yard score. Frye, however, found the endzone again in the fourth quarter on a 39-yard run that gave Starr’s Mill a 28-23 lead and kicker Whitaker Chu made it a 31-23 lead with a Panthers field goal with 4:47 left.
