Etowah, the No. 3 seed from tough Region 5-AAAAAA, knocked off defending Class AAAAAA champion Parkview on Friday night when Etowah batter Bryant Madden was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning and two outs. Etowah won 3-2. The Eagles had won the opener 4-0.

Class AAAAAA

-Etowah's Bryce O'Brien pitched a three-hit shutout in the opening 4-0 victory over Parkview. Drew Waters had two hits. Game 2 was a 10-inning classic. Etowah's final rally came with two outs and nobody on base. Andrew Keen doubled to left. After an intentional walk and an infield hit by Jake Johnston, Madden was hit by a pitch, scoring Keene. Keene had struck out the side in his only inning of relief in the top half of the 10th and got the win. Etowah starter Sawyer Gibson-Long struck out 14 but was pulled in the ninth inning.

-Valdosta won Game 3 against North Paulding on Saturday powered by Seth Shuman's grand slam in the seventh inning, giving the Wildcats a 7-5 victory on the road. The homer came in the top of the seventh, which Valdosta entered trailing 7-3. Shuman also pitched the final 1 1/3 innings, allowing no runs. Valdosta and North Paulding split on Friday. Valdosta won the opener 2-1 as Shuman, also Valdosta's football quarterback, struck out 13 in a complete game. He allowed four hits. North Paulding's Jason Krueger (6 IP) and Eric Goldstein (1 IP) teamed up for a one-hitter in Game 2, a 6-0 North Paulding victory.

-North Forsyth eliminated North Gwinnett with 8-5 and 7-2 wins. In Game 1, Kyle Martin was 3-for-3 with a double. Parker Enright and Cory Campbell hit home runs. North Forsyth used three pitchers. Starter J.B. Finnemore (1 ER, 4.0 IP) was the winner. In Game 2, it was 2-2 entering the sixth inning, but North scored three in the sixth, two in the seventh. Andrew Grogan pitched the final four innings, all scoreless, and struck out seven. Cory Campbell homered for North Forsyth.

-Pope beat Grayson 10-4 and 10-2 and had six-running innings in both. Mason Meadows went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs in Game 1. Michael Wynne doubled twice. In Game 2, Meadows and Antonio Jareno had three hits, and Parker Orr had two.

-South Cobb, a No. 4 seed, beat Region 2 champion Rockdale County 8-6 on Saturday in the clinching Game 3. South Cobb scored five runs in the third inning for an 8-3 lead and held on. Devin Lucas, the complete-game pitching winner on Friday, threw three scoreless, hitless innings to close out the game. Kyree Hawkins and Malik Bell each had two hit and a double. South Cobb and Rockdale County split. South Cobb won the opener 6-1. Lucas pitched a complete game, struck out eight and was 3-for-4 at the plate. South Cobb led Game 2 by a 1-0 score entering the top of the sixth inning, when Rockdale put up seven runs, three on bases-loaded walks, another on a passed ball. Rockdale's Jeff Sweat allowed no earned runs and struck out five in seven innings.

-Harrison swept Tift County 4-2 and 8-5. Ryan Parker allowed one run and struck out six in Game 1. James Williams homered. Ben Brock had six strikeouts in six innings in Game 2 and went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Ben Kewin had two doubles and three RBI. Matthew Bollenbachler earned saves in both games.

-Brookwood advanced against Lassiter. Brookwood opened with an 8-2 victory, breaking the game open with a five-run fifth inning. Angelo Dispigna had a double, a home run (a grand slam) and six RBI. Chad Williamson allowed only three hits over seven innings. Then in Game 2, a 12-7 win, Williamson had seven RBI. He was 2-for-4 with a grand slam.

-Collins Hill swept West Forsyth 16-7 and 11-4. In the opener, leadoff hitter William Holland was 4-for-4 with a home run and four runs scored. He also walked. Riley King was 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and six RBI. King also was the winning pitcher. The starter, King went four innings and allowed two earned runs. In Game 2, Spencer Douches went six innings and allowed four runs, but only one earned. Holland doubled.

-East Coweta, the Region 3 champion, beat Newton 15-5 and 16-2. In the first game, Keith Wilson was 4-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Jaquez Williams was 2-for-2 with a double, a home run, two runs scored, four RBI and two walks. Zack Bruce was 5-for-6 with seven RBI in the series. Nate Gick had four hits in the series.

-Walton swept Archer 5-0 and 14-3. Zac Kristofak struck out nine, allowed two hits and pitched six scoreless innings. Parker McCoy, Carter Kieboom and Jason Rooks hit home runs. Walton didn't go deep in the 14-3 win, but Jason Avers (3-for-5, double) was one of seven Walton batters with two hits or more. Archer's three runs were unearned against Walton starter Chris Hummel.

-Lee County, the Region 1 champion, won 4-1 and 2-1 against McEachern. In the opener, Lee scored all four runs in the first inning. Josh Hatcher hit a three-run homer. Tyler Goff (four innings) Andrew Wingate (three innings) combined on a two-hitter and struck out five, allowing no earned runs. In the clincher, Garet Morrell pitched a complete-game three-hitter with eight strikeouts.

-Lakeside-Atlanta swept Westlake 7-6 and 8-6. Kiernan Acklin and Jaret Barr had two hits and one double apiece in the opener. A six-run fourth inning broke open Game 2. Barr had another two-hit game. Parker Raymond was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.

-Lambert, the Region 6 champion, beat Mountain View 5-1 in Game 3 on Saturday. Turner Scruggs pitched a four-hitter, struck out six and did not allow an earned run. Jarrett Wright doubled and tripled, and Griffin Jarrett hit a home run. On Friday, the teams split. Mountain won the opener 7-1. Brennen Berger pitched a complete-game four-hitter with three strikeouts. Same Freitas had a double, two hits and four RBI. Kyle McCann had two hits and a double for Lambert. Josh McAllister homered. In Game 2, Lambert won 3-1, but trailed 1-0 until a two-run fifth inning agot only four hits. Zach Graveno went the distance and allowed only an unearned run.

-Newnan swept Tucker 11-1 and 12-0. The Cougars won the opener by run rule with a seven-run fifth inning. Chancellor Johnson threw a one-hitter. Johnson, batting third, also tripled. KD Satterwhite 2-for-3 with a double. He homered in Game 2. Blake Crossing was 3-for-3 with three runs scored. Sawyer Steele pitched a five-inning shutout with five strikes. He allowed three hits.

-Norcross, the Region 7 champion, defeated Northview 6-3 on Saturday in Game 3. Cooper Stinson (5 IP, 3 ER, 6 H) was the winning pitcher. Rolando Heredia (two hitless innings) got the save. Norcross had only three hits but took advantage of three Northview errors. Norcross and Northview split on Friday. Norcross won 1-0 on a one-hitter by Graeme Stinson, who struck out nine and walked none, although he did hit two. Stephen Wilson got an infield hit in the third inning for Northview. Riu Peng was 2-for-3. Northview used a six-run sixth inning and won 10-5 in Game 2. Griffin Cheney was 3-for-3 with a double, and D.J. Poteet homered.

Class AAAAA

-Loganville swept East Paulding on the road. Loganville survived six errors in a 10-8 opening win. Marcellus Campbell was 4-for-5 with a double. Morgan Copeland homered. Loganville then won 6-2. Mitchell Miller pitched a two-hitter and struck out 10.

-Forsyth Central swept Druid Hills 10-0 and 6-0. Parker Morrison pitched a five-inning four-hitter with six strikeouts in the opener, and Robbie Repasz was 3-for-3. In Game 2, Ryan Cox pitched a seven-inning three-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks. Parker Biederer was 3-for-3.

-South Effingham defeated Jones County 7-6 in Game 3 when Garrett Hodges singled in Caleb Gonsalves in the bottom of the eighth inning. Jones County trailing 6-1 and down to what could've been its final at-bat, had scored five runs in the top of the seventh for a 6-5 lead. South Effingham tied it with two outs in the bottom of the seventh after a single by K.C. Brown. South Effingham's Austin Thompson was 4-for-5 and pitched the final 1 1/3 innings for the victory. On Friday, South Effingham won the opener 7-0 on Caleb Gonsalves' four-hitter. Gonsalves struck out three and walked none. Jones County got even with an 8-4 victory. Jones County led 8-1 after three and crusied. Bradley Hunnicutt, also Jones County's football quarterback, allowed just one run over six innings. Teldrick Ross was 2-for-3 with three RBI and a triple.

-Northgate, the Region 4 champ, beat Harris County 1-0 and 5-4. Harris County out-hit Northgate nine to four in the opener, but Justin Whipple got the shut out. He struck out five. Northgate scored on an unearned run in the first inning. Northgate won the second game in eight innings and scored the winning run on Chris Chaffin's infield hit that scored Isaiah Cook. Cook homered earlier in the game. Jared McFall pitched all eight innings for Northgate.

-Fourth-seeded Evans knocked out Region 3 champion Richmond Hill with 2-1 and 2-0 victories. The first game went eight innings, and Evans starter Levin Lackey went the distance, allowing five hits. Daniel Lee, the No. 9 hitter who had struck out in his two previous at-bats, opened the inning with a triple off Kyle Luigs (four hits, one earned run in eight innings), and Hunter Rachels drove Lee in with a single to left. A.J. Allen struck out 10 in a complete-game four-hitter in Game 2.

-Northside-Columbus defeated Starr's Mill 3-2 in Game 3 as Drew Haywood allowed no earned runs over seven innings. Starr's Mill opened the seventh inning with consecutive singles, but Haywood got a popup and two strikeouts to close the game. Kenny Harrell was 3-for-3 with three doubles. Northside had only five hits. In the opening game Friday, Nothside won 6-3 after taking a 5-1 lead in the third inning and holding on. Northside made the most of four hits. Marcus Eberhart and Drew Haywood homered. Jalen Latta (2 ER, 5 IP) was the winning pitcher. Starr's Mill won 10-3. Richie Post and Cole Evans each went 2-for-4 with doubles.

-Winder-Barrow won 8-1 and 9-1 against South Paulding. In Game 1, Beau Hanna homered twice and had seven RBI. Will Hardigree pitched a five-hit complete game. In Game 2, Casey Thurmond allowed no earned runs in his complete game. Pate Demarco homered, doubled and drove in three runs.

-Dalton beat Dunwoody 12-0 and 12-5. Cole Shelton pitched the five-inning shutout in Game 1 and also doubled and drove in three runs. Vinny Vega was 5-for-7 in the series. Cole Shelton, Harris Norman and Maddux Houghton homered.

-Region 2 champion Houston County won a pair of one-run games – 4-3 and 3-2 – against Statesboro. Tanner Hall got the final two outs to earn saves in both. In Game 1, Hall relieved Tony Locey (10 strikeouts) as Statesboro scored three in the seventh inning but fell a run short. Hall also had two hits in the game. Austin Langford, who had two hits in Game 1, hit a two-run double in a three-run sixth inning in Game 2. D.L. Hall had 11 strikeouts and allowed only two hits but walked four. Jake Fromm, the Georgia-committed quarterback, was 2-for-4 batting third.

-Columbus came back from a 7-1 deficit (all runs unearned) in the second inning to beat McIntosh 10-9 in the deciding Game 3. Columbus, the Region 1 runner-up, took the lead with a five-run fourth inning and held on, as McIntosh never had the tying run on base. Gage Dempsey was 3-for-3. Jack Copley was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI. On Friday, McIntosh won 12-6 with an eight-run seventh inning. McIntosh had 19 hits, four by Drew Plant, three apiece by Jacob Cole and Chase Walter. Walter homered and doubled. Hudson Macnellis had four scoreless innings of relief. Columbus stayed alive with a 5-0 win in the second game. Jonathan Brand pitched the shutout on a five-hitter. Jerrette Lee was 2-for-2 with a run and RBI.

-Cambridge swept Southwest DeKalb 12-1 and 10-4 on the road. In the first game, Austin Weiermiller struck out nine and allowed three hits in five innings. Pete Gottschalk, Conner Young and Hayden Onorato had two hits apiece. Brett Hawkins and Bradley Wiedman had two hits apiece in the second game, as Cambridge scored its 10 runs in the first three innings. Jonathan Mullis didn't allow an earned run in five innings and gave up just two hits.

-Gainesville, the Region 8 champion, beat Alexander 3-1 and 7-5. Sam Carpenter pitched complete game and allowed only two hits. He struck out five. Anthony Carrera hit a two-run homer. In Game 2, Gainesville trailed 4-0 after one inning and 5-2 entering the sixth inning, but put a four spot on the board with five straight hits to open the sixth.

-Allatoona swept Heritage-Conyers 2-0 and 8-2. Grayson Harbin allowed three hits over 6 1/3 innings in the opener. He struck out nine. Brady Eeles got the final two outs for the save. Eeles also hit a home run and then tripled in Game 2, but his brother, Payton, had a bigger second game, as he went 2-for-4 two doubles. Brian DeCarlo got the win, allowing one earned run over five innings. Brady Eeles got another save, this one with two scoreless innings.

-Greenbrier beat Glynn Academy 2-1 in Game 3. Details not yet available. On Friday, Glynn Academy won 5-4 in Game 1 after opening a 5-0 lead through four innings. Garrison Hurd and Will Bowdoin had two hits apiece. Greenbrier won 19-3 in Game 2. Jon Dennany was 4-for-4. Avery Smoak was the winning pitcher. No. 1 starter Ty Snipes missed Friday's games with a virus, according to the Augusta Chronicle.

-Union Grove and LaGrange, and Mays and Kell, split double-headers on Friday.

Class AAAA

-Buford swept Whitewater 9-5 and 5-4 in a rematch of the 2015 AAAA finals. Brandon Marsh's three-run triple was the big blow in the opener. In Game 2, Griffin Joliff was the winning pitcher and was 2-for-4 at the plate. Marsh was 2-for-2. Tanner Alexander also had two hits. Austin Adams homered. The game ended in a groundout double play.

-Marist beat Ridgeland 7-0 and 20-1. In Game 1, Joseph Mannelly pitched six hitless innings and struck out nine, although he didn't pitch the seventh inning. Mannelly also had two doubles. Joe Taylor, Charlie Benson and Patrick Duffy also had two hits. In game 2, Mannelly had three doubles (giving him five on the day); Will Toner had three singles; and Jamie Taylor had a double and a two-run homer. Duke signee Coleman Williams pitched four innings, allowing just one hit and struck out six. Ridgeland's only run in the series scored on a passed ball.

-Madison County upset Region 5 champion Troup with 6-3 and 3-1 wins. In Game 2, Dylan Gentry pitched a complete-game two-hitter and struck out six. He hit a three-run homer in the third inning. In Game 1, Wyatt Wood went the distance.

-St. Pius beat Pickens 8-4 and 8-0. Garrett Gooden had a home run and three RBI in Game 1. He then went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run him Game 2, which also featured his one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts.  Sean Repasky, John Alvarez and Will David each had two hits in the opener. Chris McNulty was 2-for-2 with a homer and four RBI in Game 2.

-Cartersville beat Redan 12-3 and 11-0. Game 1 was blown open with a six-run sixth inning. Anthony Selgler had three hits and a double. Cole Jameson homered. Elliott Anderson allowed one earned run over seven innings, struck out nine and had two hits, one a double, as the leadoff batter. In Game 2, Anderson had another good game, as he hit a pair of doubles and scored two runs. Carrington Evans was 2-for-3 with two doubles. Lowe had a three-run triple, and Cole Jamieson homered.

-Region 3 champion Thomson swept Upson-Lee. Thomson won 2-0 on Morgan Hyde's two-hit, seven-strikeout shutout. Patterson Hutto had two hits. Thomson won 5-2 in nine innings. Cade Brown was 3-for-4 with a double.

-Woodward Academy beat North Oconee 6-4 in Game 3. North Oconee scored two runs in the first inning, and Woodward's Josh Levy entered in relief and finished the game, allowing only two runs, both in the seventh. He struck out seven. Alex Alvord had two hits, and Ethan Cornelius hit a solo homer. North Oconee forced Game 3 on Friday with a 5-4 victory in Game 2. It took a two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning. Josh Farmer had a two-out single for the winning run. Evan Meade was 2-for-3 with two doubles. Woodward won the opener 4-1 as Ryan Glass homered and Luke Corbin pitched a complete-game three-hitter.

-North Hall beat Carrollton 5-3 and 10-1. Taber Mongero was 3-for-4 with three runs and a double in the opener. Reese Olson (6 IP, 2 ER) was the winning pitcher. Corban Meeler struck out 11 in Game 2. Fowler Brooks was 3-for-3 with a double, and Mongero had two more hits, making him 5-of-6 in the series.

-Perry and Wayne County split. Perry won the opener 9-8 after leading 9-2 through five innings. Cal Gentry had two hits and three RBI. Wayne County won 5-1 behind Zach Mainor’s complete-game seven-hitter.

-Locust Grove and Crisp County split. Locust Grove won 11-2 in the opener. Trevor Sellers was 4-for-4, and Joah Curry was 3-for-5 with a double. Ethan Lindow (4 IP) and Curry (3 IP) allowed no earned runs. In Game 2, Crisp County scored five runs in the first two innings, took advantage of six Locust Grove erros and won 8-3. Will Carter was the winning pitcher and had two singles.

Class AAA

-No. 1-ranked Blessed Trinity won 8-1 and 6-0 against Brantley County. In the opener, Conor Davis was 3-for-4 with a double. Jake Bogosian was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Hayden Lehman allowed three hits and struck out five over six innings. John Michael Bertrand pitched a two-hit complete game in the clincher. He struck out 12.

-Decatur swept Southeast Bulloch 13-5 and 13-1 on the road as a No. 3 seed from Region 4. In the opener, Decatur had 12 singles (no extra-base hits) and seven stolen bases. James Huey, Timmy Conway, Ben Thilo, Alex Glier and Jarrett Ford had two hits apiece. Glier had three steals. Oliver Livingston was the winning pitcher. Decatur then took a 9-0 lead after two innings and Game 2. Ford and Conway had their second two-hit games of the day. Keenan Howard was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI. Josh Suson-Mrak pitched a five-inning one-hitter and struck out six.

-Cedartown swept Oconee County 13-5 and 15-7. Jack Haney hit two home runs in the opener and drove in five runs. Carlos Robinson homered and tripled. Brayden McCollum was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a triple and pitched three innings of scoreless relief. Cedartown had three homers, three triples, three doubles and a single. In Game 2, the Bulldogs slashed only two extra-base hits – a pair of doubles by McCollum, who was 3-for-5. Casey Newson also was 3-for-5. Miles Minge pitched three innings of scoreless relief and struck out five.

-Calhoun defeated West Hall 6-2 and 4-0. In Game 1, Calhoun took a 5-0 lead after two innings. Rhett Rogers pitched a complete-game two hitter and doubles and scored. Brett Potts and Bryson Davis had two hits apiece. Potts then pitched a six-hitter with seven strikeouts in Game 2. Austin Trammel homered. Jackson Braden had two hits. Ryan Randall stole three bases.

-Westminster beat Pierce County 7-6 and 6-0. In Game 1, Kenneth Hartzfeld was the winning pitcher and was 2-for-3. Rankin Woley struck out the side in the seventh inning for the save and also was 2-for-3. Blake Huber hit a three-run double off the wall in the fifth inning to give Westminster the lead. In game 2, Blake Huber pitched a four-hit shut out and strike out 12 with no walks. Ryan Miller was 2-for-4 with two doubles.

-Jackson County ousted Rockmart with a 6-3 victory in Game 3 on Saturday. Jackson County scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie. Chris Griggs pitches a complete game. He allowed 10 hits. Tyler Sartain had two hits, and Joel Ellis homered. On Friday, Jackson County avoided elimination in Game 2 with a 3-2 win in 10 innings. Jackson County railed 2-0 entering the sixth inning but scored two in the sixth and then the winning run in the 10th on a throwing error. Joel Ellis and Brett Bowen had three hits apiece. Jeremy Cook pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings in relief and got the win. Rockmart won the opener 8-1 as Chet Miller allowed six hits and struck out six, with no walks, in a complete-game victory. Griffin Earwood was 3-for-3, and Will Deems was 3-for-4. Rockmart had 13 singles, no extra-base hits.

-Ringgold, the Region 6 top seed, swept Banks County 5-1 and 4-1. Lancaster pitched a complete game in the opener, allowing seven hits, striking out seven and walking none. Baldwin was 2-for-3 with a double. Rhett Baldwin was 3-for-4 in Game 2. Hunter Foskey was 3-for-4 with a home run. Peyton Tennant pitched a complete game. He allowed six hits, struck out five and walked one

Class AA

-Lovett beat Darlington 11-4 and 11-1. Aaron Schunk hit three home runs in the series and was the Game 1 winning pitcher. In the opener, Aaron Schunk was 2-for-3 with three RBI and a homer and struck out nine over six innings. Drayton Foster was 2-for-4 with a double. In Game 2, Schunk was 2-for-3 with four RBI and three runs scored. Peyton Ringer was 2-for-3. Sam Pritchard pitched a six-inning complete game with no walks.

-Benedictine swept Screven County 5-0 and 20-4. Seth Shellhamer pitched a shutout in the opener. He struck out seven and allowed five hits. In the second game, Chase Marini doubled, tripled and homered, went 3-for-4, drove in five runs and scored three. He doubled in the first game. The second game was called for the run rule. Benedictine scored 13 runs in the fifth.

-Wesleyan advanced with a 12-0 victory over Coosa in Game 3 on Saturday as Alex Thompson pitched a three-hit shutout and recorded seven strikeouts and no walks. Thompson was 2-for-4 at the plate. Colin Hall was 4-for-4 with two doubles and a home run.  Wesleyan failed to close out the series on Friday, when Coosa scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win 6-5 and salvage a split of their double-header. Wesleyan led 5-4 in the seventh but couldn't hold it. With one out, Hunter Chastain singled, and Peyton Moore doubled him in. Mason O'Neal's single was the game-winner. In Game 1, Wesleyan scored three runs in the fifth inning in the 3-1 win. Jordan Ward didn't allow an earned run in his four-hit complete game. Drew Aspinwall was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

-Bowdon, which lost its first game of the season in the regular-season finale against Heard County, bounced back with an 8-3, 19-0 sweep of Oglethorpe County. Aarron Bradley was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in the opener. Jake Gilley hit two doubles. Justin Ingle (7 IP, 2 ER, 5 SO) was the winning pitcher. In Game 2, Cy Horton was 3-for-3 with two home runs and six RBI. Trajan Brown was 2-for-2 with a double, a homer, three runs and three RBI. Cade Geter and Trent Estes held Oglethorpe County to one hit over four innings in the run-rule game.

-Holy Innocents', the classification's top No. 4 seed, beat Region 7 champion Gordon Lee 9-2 after a six-run first inning in Game 3 on Saturday. Guillermo Granier went the distance, allowing nine hits but no walks. In Game 2 on Friday, Gordon Lee won 8-0 as Tucker Bradley pitched a three-hit shutout and struck out 15. He was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three runs scored. In the opener, Hugh Chapman allowed six hits in six innings for Holy Innocents'.

-Greater Atlanta Christian beat Model 3-0 and 13-1. Andrew Schultz pitched a two-hit shut out in the opener and struck out 11. J.P. McGuire was 2-for-3. In Game 2, Gabe Davenport was the winning pitcher (5 IP, 5 SO) and was 2-for-3 with three RBI. Carter Lewis hit a grand slam.

-Lamar County, the Region 4 champion, won 8-1 and 6-1, the last game in 10 innings, against Fitzgerald. Juan Tucker, an all-state running back in football, was 2-for-4 with four RBI in the opener. Wyatt Walden pitched a four-hitter. In Game 2, Lamar scored five runs in the 10th. The game was scoreless until each team pushed over runs in the ninth inning. Parker McBoom struck out 13, and Jacob Allison pitched a scoreless 10th. McBoom had two hits and a double. Tucker had two doubles.

Class A

-Tattnall Square won 7-2 and 11-2 against Mount Paran Christian. Corey Bartholomew pitched a complete-game four-hitter with six strikeouts, and Luke laskey hit a home run, in the opener. Garrett Houston was 3-for-4 with two RBI in the second game. He also was the winning pitcher as he pitched six innings, striking out eight and allowing four hits. Austin Marchman hit a grand slam, and Nick DiPonzio doubled and tripled.

-King's Ridge beat Mount Vernon 9-1 and 13-3. Kyle Brnovich had 12 strikeouts in a complete game in the opener. He allowed seven hits. Hayden Milling was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Milling then was 2-for-2 in Game 2. Lawson Hill tripled and homered. Fraser Ellard (3 IP, 7 SO), John Byrnes (3 IP, 5 SO) and Carter Buchanan (1 IP, 1 SO) combined for 13 strikeouts.

-Eagle's Landing Christian swept Prince Avenue Christian 10-9 and 9-1. Tre Douglas was 4-for-4 with two doubles in the opener, when ELCA nearly surrendered a 10-2 lead as Prince Avenue scored seven runs in the sixth inning. Douglas, Donald Hammond, Cole Ganopulos, Hayden Stanley, Jonathan Youngblood and Alex Johnson had two hits apiece. Johnny Cook threw a complete-game seven-hitter with eight strikeouts.
