Every Sunday, the AJC releases its top 10 polls for both boys and girls. Here's a rundown of those teams and where they're at at this point in the season.

1. South Atlanta (20-1)

Region record: 10-0 in Region 6 (first place)

Notes: The Hornets capped of a 2-0 week with a 66-63 win over No. 7 Hapeville Charter, extending their win streak to 18 games. They close out the regular season this week with a road game against B.E.S.T. on Tuesday and at home against Washington on Friday.

2. Laney (13-4)

Region record: 5-2 in Region 4 (third place)

Notes: The Wildcats played one game last week and won it, a 67-64 overtime victory over No. 3 Butler. They'll close their regular season out by hosting Harlem on Tuesday and Screven County on Saturday.

3. Butler (14-6)

Region record: 9-2 in Region 4 (first place)

Notes: The Bulldogs went 1-1 last week with the aforementioned loss to Laney and close out the season with Westside on Tuesday and Harlem on Wednesday.

4. Dublin (19-4)

Region record: 9-0 in Region 3 (first place)

Notes: The Fighting Irish went 3-0 last week, beating Northeast, Bleckley County and East Laurens. They close the regular season this week with three more league games, staring with Washington County on Tuesday.

5. Thomasville (14-7)

Region record: 7-0 in Region 1 (first place)

Notes: The Bulldogs went 3-0 last week with wins over Bainbridge, Early County and Berrien and finish the regular season this week with Albany, Fitzgerald and Brooks County.

6. Josey (16-6)

Region record: 6-5 in Region 4 (fifth place)

Notes: The Eagles lost 51-48 to Westside on Saturday to and have lost two of their last three, the other coming to No. 3 Butler. They close the regular season this week with No. 10 Glenn Hills and Jefferson County.

7. Hapeville Charter (14-6)

Region record: 8-2 in Region 6 (second place)

Notes: The Hornets went 1-1 last week with the loss coming to top-ranked South Atlanta. They close the regular season this week with Douglass and No. 8 Therrell.

8. Therrell (12-7)

Region record: 6-3 in Region 6 (third place)

Notes: The Panthers' lone game last week against Douglass went unreported. They close their regular season this week with KIPP and No. 7 Hapeville Charter.

9. Chattooga (20-1)

Region record: 12-0 in Region 7 (first place)

Notes: The Indians are riding a 16-game win streak and went 2-0 last week against Dade County and Pepperell. They close the regular season this week against Coosa and Gordon Central.

10. Glenn Hills (15-7)

Region record: 7-4 in Region 4 (fourth place)

Notes: The Spartans went 2-0 last week and have three regular season games remaining, two coming this week at Harlem and at Josey.

1. Laney (20-1)

Region record: 10-0 in Region 4 (first place)

Notes: The Lady Wildcats won at least one game against Butler; the score of their Jefferson County game went unreported. They close the regular season this week against Harlem, Josey and Screven County.

2. Dodge County (20-2)

Region record: 9-0 in Region 3 (first place)

Notes: The Lady Indians went 3-0 last week, beating Washington County, Telfair County and Hawkinsville. They close the regular season this week against Southwest, Northeast and Dublin.

3. Model (17-5)

Region record: 11-0 in Region 7 (first place)

Notes:  They Lady Blue Devils rebounded last week from a loss to Wesleyan the week before by going 2-0 with wins over Gordon Central and Armuchee. They close the regular season this week with two games against Rockmart, and against No. 8 Dade County.

4. Fitzgerald (16-2)

Region record: 7-1 in Region 1 (first place)

Notes: The Lady Purple Hurricane went 3-0 last week including a forfeit by Irwin County. They close the regular season this week at Berrien and at Thomasville.

5. Rabun County (21-2)

Region record: 9-1 in Region 8 (first place)

Notes: The Lady Wildcats went 2-1 last week, suffering a 49-45 loss at the hands of No. 6 Banks County, a team they beat 63-62 in overtime on Jan. 10. They close the regular season with this week with games against Social Circle and Elbert County.

6. Banks County (15-6)

Region record: 7-2 in Region 8 (second place)

Notes: The Lady Leopards went 2-0 last week - most notably beating No. 5 Rabun County - to extend their win streak to five games. They close the regular season this week with Putnam County, Oglethorpe County and Elbert County.

7. Vidalia (18-4)

Region record: 9-2 in Region 2 (second place)

Notes: The Lady Indians suffered a blowout 60-35 loss to No. 10 Bryan County last week, snapping a 10-0 game win streak. They'll need to close out their regular season this week with wins over Toombs County and Metter to attain yet another 20-win season under storied coach Chunk Reid.

8. Dade County (17-6)

Region record: 9-3 in Region 7 (second place)

Notes: The Lady Wolverines went 2-0 last week and close the regular season this week against Armuchee and No. 3 Model.

9. Swainsboro (15-6)

Region record: 10-2 in Region 2 (first place)

Notes: The Lady Tigers went 3-0 last week against Bryan County, Jeff Davis and Effingham County. They close their regular season this week against Metter, Toombs County and Wilkinson.

10. Bryan County (16-4)

Region record: 9-3 in Region 2 (third place)

Notes: The Lady Redskins went 2-1 last week, losing 54-51 to No. 9 Swainsboro and beating No.7 Vidalia 60-35. They close the regular season this week against St. Vincent's, Bacon County and Southeast Bulloch.
