Collins Hill at Roswell

Last meeting: Collins Hill won 24-21 in 2011.
Three things to know: 1. Roswell has won each of its games by 17 or more points. Collins Hill has more losses than any quarterfinal team, two of them to non-playoff teams Dacula and South Gwinnett. But Collins Hill's victory over Newton last week was the fourth region champion that the Eagles have beaten on the road in the playoffs over the past six seasons. Roswell was a victim in 2010. 2. Collins Hill RB Jonathan Postell rushed for 153 yards in the 31-24 victory over Newton. He has 805 yards on the season. QB Drew Dinsmore threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns in the first round, but the Eagles are erratic passing. DE Tomon Fox (North Carolina), LB Robert Snyder (Virginia) and LB Emmanuel Belmar (Virginia Tech) are ACC-bound. 3. Roswell QB Quintarius Neely completed his first 12 passes in a 34-15 victory over Camden County last week and finished 23-of-31 for 216 yards. He has thrown for 2,080 yards on the season. Roswell's balanced offense also includes 1,000-yard rusher Sheldon Evans. Linebackers Tre Lamar (committed to Clemson) and Tyrone Hopper (North Carolina) are defensive mainstays.

Last meeting: This is the teams' first meeting.
Three things to know: 1. Westlake is in the quarterfinals for the first time since 1999, a year before Grayson opened. Grayson is 3-2 in quarterfinals, all between 2007 and 2011. This will be Grayson's first since its state-championship season. 2. Grayson RB Cameryn Brent rushed for 161 yards in a 54-21 second-round victory over Valdosta. That gives him 1,205 yards on the season. Ernest Tiller had 167 yards on five carries. He has rushed for 600 yards on 55 carries (10.9 ypc). Grayson led Valdosta 54-7 after three quarters. QB Chase Brice has thrown for 2,191 yards and 27 touchdowns. 3. Westlake QB Malik Willis had the best game of his career in a 28-9 upset of No. 6 Peachtree Ridge last week. Willis was 7-of-9 passing for 92 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 113 yards. RB Marquez Burdette had 115 yards rushing. LB Christion Abercrombie (committed to Western Kentucky) had two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown.

Colquitt County at South Forsyth

Records, rankings: Colquitt County is 12-0, the No. 1 seed from Region 1-AAAAAA and No. 1; South Forsyth is 11-1, the No. 1 seed from 6-AAAAAA and unranked.
Last meeting: This is the teams' first meeting.
Three things to know: 1. South Forsyth won a coin toss between these region champions to be the host team, but Colquitt is 13-4 in road playoff games under coach Rush Propst. Colquitt County is one victory from its seventh consecutive semifinal. No other school in the highest class has more than four straight. South Forsyth lost its only previous quarterfinal to Fitzgerald in 2001 in Class AAA. 2. South Forsyth QB Davis Shanley rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns, including runs of 68 and 70 yards, in a 42-35 second-round victory over Tucker. Typically more of a passer (2,078 yards on the season), he was just 6-of-14 for 85 yards last week. Sam Outlaw, who entered with 1,007 yards, rushed for 114 yards and scored on an 87-yard run. 3. Colquitt County QB Chase Parrish threw for 275 yards and four touchdowns in a 62-21 victory over Central Gwinnett last week. That gives Parrish 2,557 yards and 32 TD passes on the season. Nick Powell is Colquitt's leading rusher with 605 yards. He had 103 against Central Gwinnett, his second 100-yard game of the season.

Records, rankings: Archer is 11-1, the No. 2 seed from Region 8-AAAAAA and No. 4; Mill Creek is 12-0, the No. 1 seed from 7-AAAAAA and No. 5.
Last meeting: This is the teams' first meeting.
Three things to know: 1. These are two of the four Gwinnett County teams in the AAAAAA quarterfinals. The others are Grayson and Collins Hill. Gwinnett also put four teams in the quarters in 2012 and 2013, but only one (state runner-up Archer) in 2014. Mill Creek lost its two previous quarterfinals to Colquitt County (2010) and North Cobb (2012). 2. Archer defeated No. 7 McEachern 24-21 on Friday as QB Will Bearden scored on a 1-yard run with 35 seconds left. That was the end of a 12-play, 74-yard drive. Bearden was 29-of-41 passing for 213 yards in the game, and he has thrown for 2,416 yards on the season. RB Jamyest Williams has 1,260 yards rushing. 3. Mill Creek has allowed only 277 yards rushing this season, including 42 to Newnan, which Mill Creek beat 44-14 last week. Three opponents, including Region 7 runner-up Peachtree Ridge, have been held to negative-yards rushing. Cameron Turley has thrown for 2,058 yards. The leading rushers are Joe Thomas (705 yards) and Daniel LeConte (579).
