Saturday marks the end of the GHSA lacrosse season, with all championship matches played that day. Below is a preview of each game.

To view the AJC's predictions made prior to the postseason's start, go here.

No. 1 Lambert Longhorns (20-0) at No. 3 Lassiter Trojans (19-2), 6 p.m.

This championship matchup was predicted before the tournament began, and Lambert is picked to prevail as a road warrior and win its first state championship since 2012, when the Longhorns completed back-to-back title seasons. Should they win, they will complete the season undefeated, just as they did in 2012. Lassiter last won a GHSA title in 2006 and will make its seventh finals appearance. There is no record on LaxPower.com of the two programs ever having played each other.

No. 2 Walton Lady Raiders (16-5) at No. 1 Milton Lady Eagles (19-2), 6 p.m.

This championship matchup was predicted before the tournament began. This space could be used to break down this matchup - a rematch of the previous two seasons' title games - but lets face it: the Lady Eagles define girls lacrosse in the Peach State and they'll win their seventh consecutive title and 11th in the past 12 seasons.

No. 1 Allatoona Buccaneers (18-2) at No. 2 Westminster Wildcats (18-2), 3 p.m.

This championship matchup was predicted before the tournament began, and the Bucs are picked to win their first title in program history. Picking the Bucs to win defies logic, however, as the Wildcats are 7-0 against Allatoona dating back to 2010, including a 10-9 overtime home win on April 23. In addition, the Wildcats are defending state champs and in search of their fifth title dating back to 2007.

No. 1 Blessed Trinity Lady Titans (19-1) at No. 2 Kell Lady Longhorns (16-4), 12 p.m.

This championship matchup was predicted before the tournament began, and the Lady Longhorns are picked to win their third consecutive title. The Lady Titans are seeking their first state title. Blessed Trinity beat Kell 11-10 on March 8, snapping a three-game losing streak against the Lady Longhorns. The Lady Titans own a 5-3 edge against Kell dating back to 2007, with the Lady Longhorns winning three straight from 2012-14.
