Brown had three tackles, two for losses, and an assist while playing only the first half in a 37-20 victory over Clarke Central. In two games, Brown has eight tackles for losses, two sacks, five QB hurries and a recovered fumble for the No. 9 team in Class AAAAA. Brown, who is uncommitted, is the consensus No. 9 recruit in the country.
*2. LB Tre Lamar, Roswell: Lamar's team did not play last week. In two games, Lamar has 23 tackles, nine behind the line of scrimmage, and three sacks for a team ranked No. 5 in Class AAAAAA. Lamar, who is committed to Clemson, is the first AJC Super 11 player in Roswell history. He is rated the No. 8 inside linebacker prospect nationally by 247Sports' composite rankings.
*3. QB Jake Fromm, Houston County: Fromm was 12-of-26 passing for 214 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-3 victory over Grovetown. On the season, Fromm is 30-of-53 passing for 576 yards and five touchdowns for a team ranked No. 2 in Class AAAAA. Fromm, who is uncommitted, is rated the consensus No. 8 pro-style quarterback prospect nationally among juniors.
*4. QB Trevor Lawrence, Cartersville: Lawrence was 9-of-15 passing for 122 yards and a touchdown in a 34-31 victory over North Cobb. On the season, Lawrence is 25-of-38 for 328 yards and five touchdowns. Cartersville moved to No. 1 in the Class AAAA rankings this week. Lawrence is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 quarterback prospect in the country among sophomores. He is uncommitted.
*5. QB Mecole Hardman, Elbert County: Hardman rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries and was 5-of-14 passing for 44 yards in a 34-30 victory over Stephens County. In two games, Hardman has rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries and is 12-of-29 passing for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Elbert County is ranked No. 4 in Class AAA. Hardman is the No. 1-rated athlete recruit in the nation, according to 247Sports' composite rankings. He is uncommitted.
*6. FB J.D. King, Fitzgerald: King rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries in a 35-14 victory over Irwin County. King also caught a 32-yard pass, putting him over 200 yards from scrimmage in each of his first three games. For the season, King has rushed for 631 yards on 63 carries (10.0 ypc) and scored seven touchdowns. King, a junior, has an offer from Georgia Southern.
*7. RB Elijah Holyfield, Woodward Academy: Holyfield rushed for 183 yards on 18 carries and scored four touchdowns, two in overtime, in a 36-29 victory over St. Pius. Holyfield sat out Woodward's opening game with an injury. Woodward is ranked No. 3 in Class AAAA. Holyfield, who is committed to Georgia, is rated the consensus No. 5 running back prospect nationally.
*8. RB/DB Taylor Trammell, Mount Paran Christian: Trammell rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries and intercepted a pass in a 42-18 victory over North Clayton. For the season, Trammell has rushed for 595 yards on 74 carries and scored 10 touchdowns and intercepted two passes. Mount Paran is ranked No. 3 in Class A. Trammell is committed to Georgia Tech as a baseball player.
*9. RB/DB Jamyest Williams, Archer: Williams' team did not play last week. On the season, Williams has rushed for 258 yards and six touchdowns on 41 carries while also playing prominently in Archer's secondary. Projected as a cornerback or wide receiver in college, Williams is rated the No. 4 prospect in the state among juniors by 247Sports, which rates him No. 1 nationally among athletes and No. 39 overall.
*10. RB/DB Colby Wood, Jefferson: Wood, a sophomore, rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries in a 35-0 victory over North Hall. On the season, Wood has rushed for 615 yards and nine touchdowns on 74 carries (8.3 ypc), completed 8 of 9 passes for 86 yards and caught three passes for 49 yards and one touchdown. He has intercepted a pass and made nine tackles, one behind the line of scrimmage. Jefferson is ranked No. 3 in AAA.
