How the game was won: Pace Academy scored the game's first 35 points and scored all 56 of points in the first half before a running clock brought a merciful end to the proceedings against visiting KIPP Atlanta Charter. The Knights scored on the ground, through the air, on a blocked punt, with an interception return and via a fumble return to overwhelm the Warriors.
Top performers: Both Deon Jackson and Mick Assaf scored in two different ways for Pace Academy. Jackson found the endzone with a 51-yard touchdown run and scored again by returning a fumble 34 yards. Assaf returned an interception 31 yards for a score and recovered a blocked punt before plunging into the endzone. The defensive scores by Jackson and Assaf came on back-to-back defensive plays--Jackson's on the first play of the ensuing Warriors' drive. ...
