How the game was won: Both teams took turns battling back from deficits until host Oconee Country decided the game had to come to an end one way or another in double-overtime. The Warriors never trailed until the second extra frame, but they answered Jefferson's score with a touchdown of their own to make the score 35-34 in favor of the Dragons. That's when Oconee County went for a decisive two-point conversion and tight end Cooper Saunders ran in a reverse for a dramatic 36-35 win.

Top performers: In addition to his late-game heroics, Saunders caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Zeb Noland to give the Warriors a 14-7 lead in the second quarter. ...
