How the game was won: Luella took a 14-13 lead into the final quarter until Latrell Murray scored on a 50-yard touchdown run to extend Luella's lead to 20-13. In the ensuing drive, Ola raced all the way down to the Luella 30 yard line but Terry Thomas sacked Ola for the game-clinching turnover on downs.

Top performers: Murray was huge in the second half and in addition to his 50 yard score, he also had a touchdown run of 60 yards in the third quarter to give Luella a 14-10 lead. …Will Thomas gave the team its first lead of the game on a one yard run in the second quarter.
