Gilmer has won three games after finishing 0-10 each of the past three seasons. That's a marked improvement, but it's not as uncommon as one might expect. According to the GHSFHA, 51 teams have won three or more games while entering a season on a losing streak of 20 games or longer. But on the flip side, 29 teams entering seasons with 20-game losing streaks followed with another winless campaign. Gilmer, at 3-5, has two chances to improve its mark.
