How the game was won: Johns Creek led 13-7 at halftime, but a Cole Neuber interception return for a touchdown on Chattahoochee's first possession of the second half gave the Gladiators a commanding lead. Chattahoochee came back to cut its deficit to five points, but Johns Creek recovered an onsides kick with three minutes remaining and ran out the clock on offense.
Top performers: Zach Gibson had touchdown passes to Marcus White in the first quarter for 30 yards and Jeremy Disher in the fourth quarter for 18 yards to make it 26-7. … Sophomore Gerard Hearst had a four-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. … Daquez Crawford also had an interception for Johns Creek.
