Islands head coach Robert Zoller and an unidentified assistant coach have been reassigned to other teaching duties and removed as coaches, the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System announced Monday.

Several volunteer coaches are no longer part of the football program, the school district said.

The GHSA last week announced that Islands must forfeit four of its five victories for violation of undue influence and recruiting rules. WSAV-TV in Savannah was the first to report news of the coaches' reassignment.

No interim head coach was announced.
