Last week: Beat Gainesville 34-0. Cameryn Brent rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns, and Chase Brice was 9-of-17 passing for 175 yards. Gainesville was held to 120 total yards and shut out for only the fourth time in Bruce Miller's 14 seasons as head coach. Grayson won 39-0 last season. Next: Friday vs. Hughes (0-2)

Last week: Beat Centennial 52-0. Centennial was held to less than 100 yards of total offense and never seriously threatened to score. Xavier McKinney intercepted a pass, his third in two games. QB Quintarius Neel was 12-of-20 passing for 123 yards and touchdowns to Nick Stelter and A.J. Smith. Kendrick Jackson had six catches for 91 yards. Next: Sept. 11 at Lassiter (2-0)

Last week: Beat Crisp County 42-0. Lee County allowed only one first down, which came on a fake punt that went 20 yards. Except for that play, Crisp had minus-28 yards rushing and 23 total yards. Lee forced five turnovers, two returned for touchdowns. Sophomore RB Demarious Milton rushed for 82 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries. Next: Friday at Worth County (0-1)

Last week: Beat Sequoyah 49-7. Bronson Rechsteiner returned the second-half kickoff 90 yards for a 42-0 lead. Etowah recovered Sequoyah's fumble of the ensuing kickoff and made it 49-0 just 24 seconds into the third quarter. Tyray Devezin rushed for 105 yards on 10 carries. Patrick Ferris was 7-of-8 passing for 105 yards and three touchdowns, one to Rechsteiner. Next: Friday at Cherokee (2-0)

Last week: Beat Eagle's Landing Christian 28-21. Jajuan Jackson returned an interception 77 yards for a touchdown and a 28-7 lead late in the third quarter. Malachi Brown threw a 53-yard TD pass to Jalen Holston and a 50-yarder to Marquez Ezzard. Next: Sept. 11 at Morrow (0-1)

Last week: Beat Morgan County 30-13. Bradley Hunnicutt was 15-of-23 passing for 303 yards and four touchdowns. Chandler Ramage rushed for 139 yards on 17 carries. Shareez Hamm scored three touchdowns on four catches for 175 yards. Next: Friday at Cross Creek (1-0)

Last week: Beat Glenn Hills 58-0. Mays used 13 ball carriers to rush for 159 yards in a game that was 58-0 at halftime. Randrecous Davis scored touchdowns on a pass reception and punt return. Last week: Beat Savannah 38-0. Demetrius Davis scored on an 84-yard run just seconds into the game, and Greg Williams scored on a 79-yard run on Coffee's second possession. Savannah lost a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, which Coffee cashed for another touchdown, and the rout was on. Coffee led 38-0 at halftime. Next: Sept. 11 vs. Ware County (2-0)

Last week: Beat Brunswick 28-0. FB Garrison Hurd rushed for 96 yards and scored three touchdowns, one a 58-yard reception. Deejay Dallas, who is committed to Georgia, returned an interception 77 yards for a touchdown. Next: Friday vs. Camden County (2-0)

Last week: Beat Hughes 30-7. QB Felix Harper passed for 252 yards and a touchdown to Tremell Gooden, and Creekside put up 468 yards in total offense. Harper's 5-yard run at the end of a 75-yard drive gave Creekside a 23-7 lead midway in the third quarter, and CB Austin Shotwell made a midfield interception later in the quarter that kept Creekside in control. Running backs Tysean Carter and Gino Appleberry also scored touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Carver, Columbus (2-0)

Last week: Beat Spencer 21-7. Carver trailed 7-0 at halftime and did not lead until Javontay Smith's 38-yard interception return made it 14-7 with 35 seconds left in the third quarter. It was Smith's second interception of the game. Next: Friday at Creekside (2-0)

Last week: Beat Berkmar 77-0. Buford had 301 yards rushing with 13 ball carriers. Buford led 56-0 at halftime, and A.J. Wansley returned the second-half kickoff 88 yards to make it 63-0. Next: Friday at McEachern (1-0)

*2. (2) Cartersville (1-0)

Last week: Beat Cass 41-0. Trevor Lawrence was 16-of-23 passing for 206 yards and four touchdowns before leaving for good early in the third quarter. Trase Fezzia and Xavier Coaxum returned interceptions for touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. North Cobb (0-2)

*3. (3) Woodward Academy (1-0)

Last week: Beat Decatur 34-7. Ryan Glover was 15-of-20 passing for 154 yards and a touchdown. Jeffrey Hubbard's 26-yard interception return made the score 14-0 late in the first quarter. AJC Super 11 RB Elijah Holyfield did not play because of an injury not believed to be serious, and Woodward was held to 48 yards rushing. Next: Friday at St. Pius (0-1)

Last week: Beat Henry County 36-12. Tylan Morton was 15-of-28 passing for 236 yards, and Quintavious Lindsey rushed for 147 yards. Griffin survived four turnovers and six dropped passes, according to the Griffin Daily News. Next: Friday vs. Burke County (2-0)

*5. (8) West Laurens (2-0)

Last week: Beat Vidalia 30-6. Darius Bradford rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Storm Walker's 33-yard interception return for a touchdown made the score 30-0 early in the third quarter. Walker also had a team leading 11.5 tackles. Next: Friday at Bleckley County (1-1)

*6. (5) Marist (0-1)

Last week: Lost to Coconut Creek, Fla. 41-21. Marist was within 27-21 after Spencer Taylor's 13-yard run with 1:47 left, but Coconut Creek recovered an onside kick and scored two touchdowns, one on a 25-yard interception return. Marist allowed minus-1 yard rushing but 375 passing. Michael Addicks had 154 of Marist's 319 rushing yards. Coconut Creek has five players rated as three-star recruits or higher by, including Georgia-committed DB Malek Young. Marist has none. Next: Friday at Lovett (0-2)

Last week: Lost to Blessed Trinity 17-6. St. Pius had 15 first downs but settled for two Nick Jones field goals. Ransom Klingler rushed for a team-leading 68 of the Golden Lions' 202 rushing yards. Next: Friday vs. Woodward Academy (1-0)

*8. (9) Mary Persons (1-0)

Last week: Beat Jackson 28-21. Mary Persons won in double overtime in a rivalry game. QB Jake Johnston was 16-for-21 passing for 141 yards and one touchdown. Zach Harvey rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Mary Persons allowed 174 yards of total offense, with 97 of that coming on one play. Next: Friday vs. Washington County (0-1)

*9. (NR) Thomson (2-0)

Last week: Beat Washington County 49-42. Billy Mance rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Tyrek Braswell rushed for 96 on 13, and his 47-yard TD run with 8:04 left made it 49-35. Thomson had 505 yards in total offense, according to the Augusta Chronicle. Next: Sept. 11 at Hart County (1-0)

*10. (NR) Bainbridge (1-0)

Last week: Beat Early County 42-13. Damieon Pierce rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns, and Bainbridge led 35-0 at halftime. Brett McLaughlin was 11-of-15 passing for 181 yards and two touchdowns, two to Tyler Story, who caught seven passes for 131 yards. Bainbridge intercepted three passes. Bainbridge is the rankings for the second time since 2009, first since a one-week visit in 2013. Next: Friday at Cairo (0-0)

Class AAA

*1. (1) Calhoun (1-0)

Last week: Beat Dalton 28-7. Calhoun allowed 107 yards in total offense and forced four turnovers. Olico Dennis rushed for 149 yards, and his 10-yard TD run with 5:24 left in the third quarter made it 21-7. All-state QB Kaelan Riley was intercepted three times. Next: Friday at Carrollton (0-2)

*2. (2) Blessed Trinity (1-0)

Last week: Beat St. Pius 17-6. Garrett Dupuis rushed for 131 yards on 10 carries, and his 69-yard TD run with 4:09 left iced the game. Dupuis also had one of four sacks. Logan Craighead led Blessed Trinity with eight tackles. St. Pius was only 4-for-12 passing. Next: Friday vs. Sequoyah (0-1)

*3. (3) Westminster (1-0)

Last week: Beat Lovett 26-23. Westminster took a 20-3 lead in the first quarter, then ran out the final 4:38 of the game after Lovett got within 26-23. Westminster took a knee at the Lovett 8 on the final play. QB Rankin Woley rushed for 115 yards on 15 carries and was 6-of-8 passing for 47 yards. RB Zay Malcome rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Tyler Gillikin had three tackles for losses totaling 19 yards. Next: Friday vs. Laney (0-1)

*4. (4) Elbert County (1-0)

Last week: Beat Cedar Shoals 40-14. QB Mecole Hardman threw TD passes of 13 and 76 yards to Joseph Johnson and scored on 9-yard run to give Elbert County a 34-7 halftime lead. Letravious Barnett returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown and set up another score with a 63-yard run. Next: Friday vs. Stephens County (1-0)

*5. (5) Jefferson (2-0)

Last week: Beat Winder-Barrow 32-17. Sophomore RB Colby Wood rushed for 239 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries and caught a 20-yard TD pass. Winder-Barrow lead 17-14 after a 55-yard TD run by preseason all-state RB CeCe Green, who finished with 154 yards rushing. But Jefferson took the lead for good on Wood's TD reception from Bryce Moore with 2:01 left in the third quarter. Next: Friday vs. North Hall (0-0)

*6. (6) Cedar Grove (1-1)

Last week: Lost to Hallandale, Fla. 34-26. Preseason all-state RB LaBron Morris scored three touchdowns, but Cedar Grove held the lead only once, 6-0, against a team ranked No. 2 in Florida's Class 5A. Next: Sept. 11 vs. Miller Grove (2-0)

*7. (9) Hart County (1-0)

Last week: Beat Clarke Central 24-21. Sergio Gomez's 34-yard field goal in the third quarter was the difference. Hart County suffered four turnovers but forced six, including LB Dre' Sadler's interception returned for a touchdown. WR/DB/P Zach Maldonado had seven receptions for 80 yards and averaged 38 yards on nine punts, five that were not returned. DT Trey Teasley, who had two tackles for losses, led the defense. *8. (10) Pierce County (1-0)

Last week: Beat Southeast Bulloch 40-35. Stetson Bennett was 26-of-31 passing for 296 yards and two touchdowns and drove his team to the game-winning score in the final two minutes. Pierce had more than 450 yards in total offense but surrendered more than 350 rushing yards to Southeast Bulloch. Next: Friday at Bacon County (1-0)

*9. (7) Peach County (0-1)

Last week: Lost to Warner Robins 44-34. Peach County led 21-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on against its Class AAAAA opponent. Tyrique McGhee scored on a 51-yard run and threw a 54-yard TD pass, but Warner Robins stormed to 579 yards of total offense, according to the Macon Telegraph. Next: Friday vs. Perry (0-1)

*10. (8) Washington County (0-1)

Last week: Lost to Thomson 49-42. QB Houston Channell (195) and RB Darius Tucker (155) each rushed for more than 150 yards, but Washington County couldn't slow Thomson, which had more than 500 yards in total offense. Channell also had 119 yards passing and four TD runs. Washington County scored twice on long fumble returns. Next: Friday at Mary Persons (1-0)

Last week: Beat Heard County 29-7. FB J.D. King rushed for 217 yards, his second consecutive game over 200, and QB James Graham ran for 114, his second straight over 100. Both scored two touchdowns. Fitzgerald rushed for 510 yards as a team. Sophomore LB Markeylon Lunay had seven solo tackles and forced a fumble. Next: Friday at Irwin County (1-0-1)

*3. (3) Greater Atlanta Christian (1-1)

Last week: Beat North Oconee 55-21. GAC took a 55-7 lead in the second quarter after scoring touchdowns on a blocked punt and a recovered fumble in the end zone. QB Davis Mills was 7-for-8 passing for 135 yards and two touchdowns and didn't play the second half. Next: Friday vs. Eagle's Landing Christian (1-1)

*4. (4) Macon County (1-0)

Last week: Beat Americus-Sumter 48-33. Macon County got off to a 28-0 first-quarter lead and held on. Akeevious McLendon rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. K'hari Lane passed for 155 yards and four touchdowns, three to Trey Brown, who had six catches for 110 yards. Next: Friday at Veterans (0-1)

Last week: Lost to West Laurens 30-6. The total yardage was even, 224-224 (West Laurens had Vidalia trailing 233-221), but Vidalia suffered two turnovers, one an interception that was returned for a touchdown, and forced no turnovers. FB Jadarius McClendon rushed for 88 yards. Next: Friday vs. Toombs County (1-0)

Last week: Lost to Westminster 26-23. Lovett got within 26-23 on Jay Harris's 5-yard TD run with 4:38 left, but Lovett never got the ball back. DB/DB Jay Harris rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. DL Ian Herbert had 10 tackles. Next: Friday vs. Marist (0-1)

Last week: Beat Habersham Central 42-14. Bailey Fisher passed for 228 yards and rushed for 105 and had a hand in three touchdowns. Rabun trailed 14-13 at halftime. Next: Friday at Mount Pisgah Christian (1-0)

*1. (1) Eagle's Landing Christian (1-1)

Last week: Lost to Stockbridge 28-21. Sophomore Khaleb Hood returned a punt 47 yards for a touchdown with less than five minutes left to get ELCA within 28-21, but Stockbridge was able to run out the clock. RB Trevor Gear rushed for 110 yards, and OT Chandler Reeves graded out 96 percent working much of the game against AJC Super 11 DE Charles Wiley. Next: Friday at Greater Atlanta Christian (1-1)

*2. (2) Marion County (1-0)

Last week: Beat Miller County 40-6. Mykelle Kelley rushed for 125 yards on nine carries. Lorenzo Smothers had 84 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries and ran a kickoff 95 yards for a score. The score was 33-0 at halftime. Next: Sept. 11 vs. Dooly County (1-0)

*3. (7) Prince Avenue Christian (1-0)

Last week: Beat Aquinas 42-12. Prince Avenue scored five touchdowns in the second quarter, three in a two-minute stretch. The Wolverines churned out 246 yards rushing, with no back over 70, and got another 110 yards passing. LB Zack Ragle's fumble return for a touchdown made it 21-0 in the second quarter. *4. (8) Mount Paran Christian (2-0)

Last week: Beat Whitefield Academy 35-0. Taylor Trammell rushed for 175 yards on 20 carries and scored touchdowns on runs of 53, 1 and 42 yards. Trammell also scored on a 34-yard pass from Matthew Norton. On defense, Allen Cater had three tackles for losses. Next: Friday at North Clayton (0-1)

Last week: Beat Lithia Springs 45-20. Landmark had 552 yards of total offense. Junior RB Lofton Tidwell rushed for 255 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. QB Stockton McGuire was 13-of-17 passing for 178 yards and four touchdowns, three to Joey Blount (six catches, 93 yards). DB Peyton Hayes broke up five passes and had five solo tackles. Last week: Beat Manchester 33-7. Andrew Lee ran 73 yards for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage, and Charlton opened a 27-0 lead before Manchester got on the board late in the third quarter. Sophomore RB Eric Daniels rushed for 179 yards and scored on runs of 5, 26, and 3 yards. Freshman Raykwon Anderson returned a punt 38 yards right before halftime for the other TD.
