Last week: Beat Buford 37-14. McEachern led 17-14 midway through the third quarter but scored the game's final 17 points. RB Sam Jackson rushed for 96 yards on 14 carries and had scoring runs of 27 and 21 yards. QB Bailey Hockman passed for 237 yards and had TD passes of 70, 30 and 64 yards. The 70-yarder came on the Indians' first offensive play and went to four-star recruit Tyler Smith, who left in the second quarter with a knee injury. Next: Friday at Peachtree Ridge (0-2)

Last week: Beat Cherokee 36-21. Tyray Devezin rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns. QB Patrick Ferris was 9-of-15 passing for 189 yards. Collin Mitchell returned one of three Etowah interceptions for a touchdown, and Bronson Rechsteiner had a sack for a safety. Pennymon scored four touchdowns, one on a pass reception, another on an interception return. He had six tackles. Trevor Lawrence was 9-of-15 for 122 yards and a touchdown. Buford scored on the first play from scrimmage, a 66-yard pass from Brandon Marsh to Alan Bussoletti, but was outscored 37-7 the rest of the way to snap the Wolves' 42-game winning streak. Anthony Grant had 94 of Buford's 218 yards rushing, and Martin Mangram rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown. Buford had 383 yards in total offense, while McEachern had 406. Last week: Beat St. Pius 36-29. Elijah Holyfield rushed for 183 yards and four touchdowns, two in overtime. A sack by Terry Myrick and an interception by J.R. Last week: Beat Carrollton 24-20. Calhoun trailed 20-3 with 8:33 left in the first half after Carrollton returned an interception 71 yards for a touchdown, but Calhoun QB Kaelan Riley threw two TD passes and ran for a third in the rally. Riley rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries and was 20-of-27 passing for 254 yards and two touchdowns. LB Jireh Wilson had three tackles for losses for Calhoun.
