Greater Atlanta Christian 33, Pace Academy 13

How the game was won: Greater Atlanta Christian scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to erase a 13-12 deficit at the intermission and sprint past host Pace Academy. Turnovers were a key factor, as Pace Academy used two interceptions to aid its first-half success. Spartans' quarterback Davis Mills did not turn the ball over at all in the second half and Greater Atlanta Christian converted two Pace Academy miscues into 14 points.

Top performers: Mills completed 12-of-19 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He tossed scoring strikes 29 yards and 13 yards to Malcolm Cunningham and Marcus Young, respectively. Mills also rushed for a two-point conversion following Greater Atlanta Christian's go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter. ... The Spartans were also led by Joshua Pickens, who rushed for two scores. ... The Knights got two field goals of 42 and 43 yards by Samuel Sloman in addition to a 26-yard touchdown pass from Gunnor Faulk to Trey Blount.
