How the game was won:  The Spartans got off to a slow start, but behind quarterback Davis Mills, GAC advanced to 7-1 on the season and blew past the Golden Bears.

Top Performers: Davis Mills controlled the air for GAC, hitting Harrison Sloan for a 20-yard score and later Malcolm Cunningham on a 82-yarder to jump out to a 14-0 lead in the first. In the first quarter alone Mills totaled 153 yards passing. Martin Williams of Holy Innocents started the second quarter with a 59-yard touchdown run to cut the lead to 14-7. After a fumble, Marcus Young rumbled seven yards for a score to make it 21-7 in favor of the Spartans. In the third quarter GAC began to pull away when Berkley Boglin scored on an 11-yard run. Young found the end zone on a 18-yard run with 6:51 left in the third before Boglin returned a pick-six 85 yards to make it 41-7 heading into the fourth. Robby Fowler and Jonathan Waters added touchdown runs in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring.
