Mill Creek got a 65 from medalist Peter Chung and won the Apple Mountain Invitational in Clarkesville with a 275, beating Dalton (289) and Gainesville (294) in the 24-team event.

Chung’s 65 set a school record and the 13-under score was also the best-ever for the Hawks. Mill Creek also got a 68 from Luka Karaulic and 71s from Jordan Smith and Seth McAfee.

Davis Smith shot 69 to lead Dalton. Spencer Ralston shot 70 to lead Gainesville.

Dalton boys win LaFayette Invitational

Dalton shot 298 and beat host LaFayette by two strokes at the LaFayette Boys Invitational. Etowah shot 301 in the 20-team field and finished third.

Dalton got 73s from Davis Kirk and Carter Pendley. Allen Behr and Landon Hicks each shot 76 for the Catamounts.

Gordon-Lee’s Justin Hickman shot 3-under 69 to earn medalist honors. The team shot 309 and finished fifth, but still set a school record for best tournament score.

Lowndes takes Bearcat Invitational

Lowndes won the 16th annual Bearcat Invitational at Bainbridge Country Club. The Vikings show 313 to best the eight-team field. Lowndes was led by Cannon Harp with a 76 and Davis Carter with 77, while Parker Rowe had a 79.

Camden County claims Sonny Stewart Classic

Camden County won the Sonny Stewart Camden Classic at Laurel Island Links. Thatcher Neal was medalist in the 20-team field.
