How the game was won: Glynn Academy kicker Banks Entwistle booted a 40-yard field goal and the Terrors defense held Ware County to just 37 total yards in the first half to build a 3-0 lead. Glynn Academy forced a fumble on Ware County's first possession of the second half and took over at the Gators 19 yard line. Ware County pushed back Glynn Academy for three straight negative plays and the visiting Terrors had to settle for a 48-yard field goal that was nailed by Entwistle. Ware County finally sustained a drive, fueled by five Glynn Academy penalties and took a 7-6 lead at the end of the third quarter. The Terrors responded, however, and capped off an 80-yard drive with a Kendall Cross touchdown to reclaim a 12-7 lead. UGA-commit Deejay Dallas ran in the two-point conversion to make it a 14-7 advantage. Ware County had one last chance on a fourth down at the Glynn Academy 26 yard line but were stopped short.
