Class AAAAAA : Elizabeth Funderburk shot 74 to lead Colquitt County to the Region 1 title. In Region 2, Alcovy claimed first behind Kaitlyn Doering's 91. Addie Miller of East Coweta shot 88 to give her team the title, but Westlake's Najae Butler was medalist with a 71. Jordan Abbott of Harrison shot 81 to lead the Hoyas to victory in Region 4. Pope won Region 5 behind Lizzie Reedy's 77. Defending champion Lambert used a 66 from Lauren Lightfritz to repeat in Region 6. Mill Creek won Region 7 behind Emma Bell's 74. Parkview won Region 8, as Menna Fasil shot 85.

State qualifiers: Colquitt County, East Coweta, Harrison, Pope, Lambert, Mill Creek, Brookwood.  Sectional qualifiers: Valdosta, Tift County, Alcovy, Tucker, Rockdale County, Newnan, Hillgrove, North Paulding, Walton, Woodstock, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, South Forsyth, Peachtree Ridge, North Gwinnett, Mountain View, Parkview, South Gwinnett.

Class AAAAA: Columbus took the Region 1 title behind an 82 from Amy Clark. Jones County won the Region 2 crown behind Monique Veal's 88, although Lakeside's Megan Sabol was medalist with a 74,. Julian Collett's 77 led Glynn Academy to the Region 3 title. Starr's Mill used a 79 from Liza Eubanks to win Region 4. Kayla Jones shot 89 and South Paulding won Region 5. Dalton won Region 7 as Katelyn Skiffen and Carson Roberts each shot 74s. Lanier won Region 8 thanks to a 73 from medalist Niquole Mangal.

State qualifiers: Columbus, Jones County, Glynn Academy, Starr's Mill, South Paulding, Dalton, Lanier.  Sectional qualifiers: Northside Columbus, Harris County, Lakeside Evans, Evans, Houston County, Ware County, Camden County, Northgate, Union Grove, Ola, Chapel Hill, East Paulding, Cambridge, Creekview, Woodland Cartersville, Gainesville, Flowery Branch, Winder-Barrow.

Class AAAA: Thomas County Central won Region 1 behind a 98 from Madeline Carson. In Region 2, Cassidy Erickson shot 87 to help Veterans finish first. Rylie Marchman shot 77 and Dorminy Johnson shot 78 to help Burke County win Region 3. In Region 4, Walnut Grove placed first behind Abigail Coker's 82. Ayanna Habeel shot a 79 to lift Woodward Academy to the Region 5 championship. Freshman Woo Wade shot 83 and helped Marist win Region 6. Pickens won Region 7 behind an 88 from Katerine Densmore. In Region 8, Buford finished first behind an 83 from Briana Walton.  State qualifiers: Thomas County Central, Veterans, Mary Persons, Burke County, Walnut Grove, Eastside, Woodward Academy, Marist, Pickens, Cartersville, Heritage Catoosa, LaFayette, Buford, North Oconee, White County, Johnson Gainesville. 

Class AAA : Sloan Lanier shot 75 to lead the Pierce County Bears to the Region 1 title. Peach County won the Region 2 title, with Amber Gassett leading with a 107. Carrol Pyon of Rutland was medalist with a 71. Brette Bryant shot 84 to help Davidson Fine Arts win Region 3. Blessed Trinity won Region 4 behind an 81 from Haley Gamis. Central Carroll used an 81 from Anisley Cowart to win Region 5. A 76 from Katie Rawls was enough to help Calhoun win Region 6. Franklin County won Region 7, with Allie Cobb leading with an 84. In Region 8, Jessica Ingram shot 81 and helped Oconee County win the title.  State qualifiers: Pierce County, Davidson Fine Arts, Blessed Trinity, Central Carroll, Calhoun, Franklin County, Oconee County.  Sectional qualifiers: Brantley County, Southeast Bulloch, Peach County, Westminster, Cedartown, Pepperell, North Murray, Sonoraville, Gordon Central, Banks County, Dawson County, Lumpkin County, Jefferson, Hart County, Jackson County.

Class AA : Medalist Karson Stone shot 78 to lead Thomasville to the Region 1 title.  In Region 2, Layne Carter shot 77 and defending state champion Vidalia won the championship over St. Vincent's. Presley Smith medaled with an 87 and Metter won the one-team Region 3 title. Bleckley County won Region 4 behind Dawson Greer's 83. Anna Schrews shot 87 to lead Bremen to the Region 5 championship. Wesleyan's Elisa Yang shot 67 to help the Wolvers to the Region 6 title. In Region 7, MaCall Miller's 85 paced Gordon Lee to victory in Region 7.  Madison Horinek shot 76 to lead Union County to the Region 8 title.  State qualifiers: Thomasville, Vidalia, St. Vincent's Academy, Metter, Bleckley County, Monticello, Bremen, Wesleyan, Lovett, Holy Innocents', Greater Atlanta Christian, Gordon Lee, Darlington, Armuchee, Union County, Social Circle, Rabun County, Oglethorpe County. 

Class A Private : Josie Coleman medaled with an 88 to help Stratford Academy win the Area 1 championship by two shots over First Presbyterian. Tallulah Falls won the Area 2 championship behind Jenny Wang's 82. Amanda Doherty's 67 provided an 11-shot win among individuals as she led Galloway to victory in Area 3. Mt. Pisgah, runner-up at state last year, won the Area 4 title behind a 79 from Megan McGaughy. State qualifiers: Stratford Academy, Tallulah Falls, Galloway, Mt. Pisgah Christian.  Sectional qualifiers: First Presbyteian, Savannah Christian, St. Anne-Pacelli, Prince Avenue Chritian, Athens Academy, Providence Christian, Landmark Christian, Our Lady of Mercy, Eagle's Landing Christian, St. Francis, Whitefield Academy, North Cobb Christian. 

Class A Publi c: Haley Sellars shot 95 and Madison Hood shot 98 to lead Schley County to victory in Area 1. Faith Reddick's 90 helped Portal win the Area 2 championship. Trion was the lone competitor in Area 3, thus advancing to state behind the 105s posted by Aubrey Smith, Anniston smith and Sydnee Thompson. Kenzie Jenkins of Towns County medaled with an 87, but Commerce won the Area 4 crown behind the 116 posted by McKenzie McRee.  State qualifiers: Schley County, Portal, Trion, Commerce. Sectional qualifiers: Hawkinsville, Terrell County, Miller County, Claxton, Charlton County, Echols County, Glascock County.

Calhoun wins Lady Trojan Invitational

The Calhoun girls won the Lady Trojan Invitational, posting a 237 team total to beat Woodward Academy by six shots. The Yellow Jackets were led by medalist Kate Mashburn with a 71. Maddie Crump and Katie Kauffman each shot 83 for Calhoun.

Woodward Academy, which finished second at 243, was led by Ayanna Habeel with a 74 and Jakari Harris shot 81. Blessed Trinity and Columbus tied for third at 247.

Finishing second among individuals was Kiira Riihijarvia of Darlington, who shot 72 as a junior varsity marker.
