The Georgia High School Association has posted the brackets for the state soccer tournament.

The tournament kicks off Tuesday and will conclude May 12-14 at Mercer University in Macon.

(Saturday is the last day for games to be completed, so there are a few holes in the brackets. This story will update).

Storylines to follow:

--No. 1 Chattahoochee and No. 2 Lakeside enter the AAAAAA state tournament as the only unbeatens. But a strong cast of Gwinnett County perennial powers also appear poised to make a run. Mill Creek, Brookwood, Parkview and defending-champion Duluth all finished ranked by Eurosportscoreboard.

"It's wide open," Lakeside coach Benjamin Smith said of the AAAAAA draw.

Lakeside, fresh off completing the first 18-0 regular season in program history, will face South Cobb at 7 p.m., Wednesday  at Hallford Stadium.

--Three-time defending champion Dalton had its run of 80 straight matches without a loss come to an end against Riverwood in the region tournament. McIntosh, the 2014 Class AAAAA champion, enters the AAAAA tournament ranked No. 1. (Dalton was in AAAA in 2014).

Players to watch

--Dunwoody's Josh Bronstorph: The senior scored 42 goals in the regular season and has signed with Georgia Southern. Bronstorph spent two years with the national academy before returning to Dunwoody for his senior season. The Wildcats won a region championship for the first time since 1997. They'll open against North Atlanta.

--McIntosh's Jake Donaldson: He led the top-ranked Chiefs with 19 goals and 12 assists.

--Dalton has a pair of stars in Isai Hernandez and Churrui Huitanda.

--Lakeside's top weapon, Max Wieder, has returned from a hamstring injury that kept the senior star out for a few weeks. Lakeside coach Benjamin Smith said Wieder is "close to 100 percent."

--Paideia has a junior star with national-level experience in Lagos Kunga.
