GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Billy Barnhart, Towns County

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "1987 Class 1A Florida high school state championship game - University Christian vs. Belle Glades Day: I was a junior in high school and started at center for University Christian, and we beat Belle Glades Day 13-3 to win the state championship."

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Mark Mariakis, because he is a man of God and genuinely cares for and loves his players and runs a program with integrity and character." [Mariakis, the former head coach at Ridgeland, is now coaching at Chattanooga Christian.]

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "I hate excuses."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I would completely separate public and private schools in Class A (including region play). I would really like to see a complete split of the public and private schools, especially in our classification."
