GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Tyler Wynn, River Ridge

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "As a senior at Troup High School, beating LaGrange 24-21 in the season opener in 2003. The atmosphere was ridiculous in Callaway Stadium that night. We had lost to LaGrange three years in a row, and our senior class had a chip on our shoulder. They also had about seven Division I athletes on the field, so winning against a storied program in a rivalry game made it that much more memorable. LaGrange went on to win the state championship that season in Class AAA, and we lost in the third round of the AAAA playoffs to Tucker." [Wynn got all-state recognition as a quarterback for Troup that year.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "This is a tough one to answer. Georgia coaches are amongst the best in the country. There are quite a few who come to mind: Tommy Walburn, my high school coach; Mike Earwood [now at Our Lady of Mercy]; and Steve Pardue [now at East Coweta] are the first three coaches who come to mind. I have a ton of respect for them, not only as coaches, but also as men."

3. What is your favorite saying or motto? "Eye Contact. If a coach, or anyone for that matter, is talking, show them enough respect to look them in the eye. Favorite Saying: Hard Work Pays."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I'd love to see the GHSA evaluate the policies for spring football. I believe that giving teams an opportunity to scrimmage against other schools at the end of their spring would be much more beneficial to the schools both from a competitive/evaluation standpoint and from a fundraising standpoint."
