1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "In 2001, Mount Zion vs. Trion in the first round of the playoffs. We were behind 21-18 with 4:30 to go in the game. We could not stop the Trion ground game. It was fourth-and-18 from our 8. We were afraid if we punted they would run the clock out, so instead of punting, we went for it and didn't make it. They scored the next play to make it 28-18. We got the ball back with about 4:12 to go. We scored a touchdown with two minutes to go in the game and missed the extra point. We onside-kicked, got it and scored a touchdown with 1:30 to go and went for two and converted to make it 32-28. We stopped them on fourth down with them on our 48 to secure the win."

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Bryan Love at Westlake. After hearing him speak at FCA camp and watching how he interacts with his players, there is no doubt he is coaching for the right reason."

3. What is your favorite saying/motto? "Avoid opportunities to become angry."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I would like to get a plan for classifications and stick with it. The constant change and guess is not good for the state of football."
