GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.
Clint Satterfield, Locust Grove
1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "At Locust Grove, we had a 31-point second-half comeback versus Dutchtown in 2012." [Locust Grove won 40-37. It was a pivotal game on the way to the school's first winning season, 6-4.]
2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Timothy Floyd of Jonesboro. He loves his players and teaches them life lessons." [Satterfield gave this answer on Aug. 31. On Nov. 6, his Locust Grove team played Floyd's Jonesboro team for the Region 4-AAAA title. Jonesboro won 19-14.]
3. What is your pet peeve as a coach or favorite saying/motto? "Be on time and make no excuses."
4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "The new practice plans. I feel like there are too many stipulations."
