GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Don Norton, Johnson County

1. Who is/was the most influential person in your coaching career? "Butch Brooks, Washington-Wilkes head coach. He taught me to make the kids do right, be accountable, and that you are only as good as your word."

2. Who is the best Georgia player you ever faced? "Takeo Spikes, 1994 Washington County team. Unbelievable. And Nick Marshall, 2010 Wilcox County. Best performance in a playoff game I have seen."

3. What is the best team you ever faced as a coach? "1994 and 1996-97 Washington County teams, 2003-ish Hawkinsville, 2005 Lincoln County and 1997 Americus."

4. If you were Gary Phillips, the new head of the GHSA, what would be the first rule that you would try to change? "None. I am good."
