GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Rodney Holder, Grovetown

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "In 1987, we beat Warner Robins to claim the region title in football. We had lost to them the year before 10-9, and they were one of the best teams in the Southeast if not the nation at that time. Lenny Springs was our running back and Craig Cassedy was our quarterback. We just flat out beat them, and that never happened back then." [Evans won 26-14. Holder was a backup safety on that team.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "My dad, Terry Holder: He is an amazing person that wouldn't let anybody settle for anything less than their best as a person and player." [Terry Holder, a member of the GACA Hall of Fame, was head coach at Greenbrier from 1996 to 1998, leading the Wolfpack to playoff berths each season, but was better known as a baseball coach. His teams at Greenbrier and Evans won eight state titles.]

3. What is your favorite saying/motto? "Gotta get better today."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I would love for there to be a system to grade out the officials from a coach's standpoint. Then use this system to assign them playoff games and title games. If the teams have to earn it on the field, then the officials should be in the same boat. This would bring a better working relationship back into play with coaches and officials."
