GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Roger Holmes, Dublin

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "The 2006 state championship game with Charlton County in Dublin. The stadium was completely filled for the 4 p.m. start. When I arrived at 6 a.m., there were several fans already tailgating in the parking lot. By the time we went to pregame meal, we needed a police escort just to get off our campus. The game, as many remember, ended in a tie, with us punting to Charlton with a little over two minutes left and them punting to us on the last play of the game. This was the year that the GHSA did away with a tie in the finals. It was a game that Dublin controlled in the first half and Charlton controlled in the second half. The game ended in a 10-10 tie."

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "If I had to choose one coach, it would be Rob Ridings of Thomson High School. Coach Ridings and I were teammates at Middle Tennessee State. He is a coach that demands mental and physical toughness of all his players. He will go the extra mile to make sure his players get the exposure they need to extend their career after high school."

3. What is your favorite saying/motto? "Tough times don't last, but tough people do!"

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I would like for the GHSA to allow appeals for coaches or players that have been ejected. I believe there are certainly some occasions where it is not merited and they should have the ability to overturn the decision before the next game. As it stands now, there is no appeal for any ejection."
