The Milton-Roswell game between north Fulton County’s oldest high schools is a rematch of a game won late by Roswell in 2018. Milton bounced back to win a state champioship.
Other games of note around the state include No. 1 Clinch County at No. 2 Irwin County in a rematch of the 2018 Class A public-school championship game; nationally ranked Miami Northwestern at No. 2 Lowndes of Class AAAAAAA; the Fish Bowl between St. Pius and Marist; No. 7 Rome at No. 3 Carrollton in AAAAA; No. 3 Troup of AAAA at No. 3 Callaway of AA; and No. 4 Warner Robins of AAAAA at No. 5 Colquitt County of AAAAAAA.
