DeKalb All-Star Game is Thursday

Some of the top senior basketball players from DeKalb County will meet in the annual All-Start Game on Thursday at Miller Grove. The girls game begins at 4 p.m., with the boys to follow at 7 p.m. There will also be a 3-point shooting contest and a slam dunk contest.

The girls teams are coached by James Oliver of Tucker and Dennis Watkins of Stephenson. The boys teams are coached by Rasul Chester of Miller Grove and Wallace Corker of Lithonia.

Oliver's team includes: Victoria Syphoe of Chamblee, Tyneisha Tillery of Clarkston, Deidra Harris and Illia Mathis of Columbia, Dyani Whitaker and Kahmiya McField of Cross Keys, Jada Mattox of Stone Mountain, Jada Walton of Southwest DeKalb, Nicowa Robinson and Keoshia Hall of Towers, Bria Bass and Morgan Collins of Tucker and Sydney Brown of Redan.

Watkins' team includes: Akila Simmons of Chamblee, Kendall Smith and Hope Eggers of Dunwoody, Kayln Geer and Lawryn Amey of Lithonia, Karlete Telismat and Dyemond Dupree of McNair, Zeela Smith and Quandajha Thompson of King, Carolyn Hoard and Naomi Holloway of Stephenson, Ruoan Uwusiaba of Southwest DeKalb, and Dariyon Minor of Redan.

Chester's team includes: Jamal Middleton and Darius Giles of Arabia Mountain, Jashun McNeil of Clarkston, Marquavious Barner of Cross Keys, Turner Nims and Sidi Diallo of Dunwoody, Reeves McSwain of McNair, George Wilson and Joshua Jackmon of Miller Grove, Tyonn Stuckey of Redan, Julian Larkins and Aloy Ufere of Stephenson, and Colin Joseph and Joshua Cammon of Tucker.
