Camden County has lost two games that count in the region standings this season for the first time since 1993. Those losses are against Valdosta and Lowndes. In 1993, the losses were against Beach and Johnson, both of Savannah, a city that did not have such good luck against the Wildcats in later years. Who was Camden County's head coach in 1993? Hint: He was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2012. (Answer Tuesday)

Answer to Friday's question: GHSA football-playing schools that are within two miles of Lake Lanier's shoreline are Buford, Chestatee, East Hall, Gainesville, Lakeview Academy, North Hall, Riverside Military and West Hall. Lanier High is not. Lanier's main feeder school, Lanier Middle, is a short walk from Lake Lanier and less than a mile from Buford Dam. Lanier High is about five miles from a Lake Lanier shoreline.
