Which regions are the most suspenseful? By one measure, it is 7-AAAAA. According to the computer Maxwell Ratings, there is only a 6.4 percent chance that the same four teams would be in the playoffs in the same four positions if the season were played twice in a row. Region 7-AAAAA is what might be called the perfect storm. It has many teams (14), nine of which have winning records, but none ranked. In other words, it's a bunch of pretty good teams, but none outstanding. The least suspenseful region is 4-AAAAAA. According to Maxwell, there is an 88.7 percent chance that the region would finish the same - No. 1 McEachern, No. 2 North Cobb, No. 3 Hillgrove and No. 4 Harrison - if you played it twice.
