Coming Thursday: AJC’s all-state basketball teams

The AJC’s all-state and all-metro high school school basketball teams will be released Thursday afternoon on AJC.com. The teams will honor 400 players and two all-classification state players of the year.

The 2013 all-class players of the year were Brannen Greene of Tift County and Diamond DeShields of Norcross. This year’s choices might surprise you.

The annual teams also will recognize players and coaches of the year from six classifications and six metro Atlanta areas.

Selections will be published in the print edition of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
