Items of Note: Wesleyan kept its top rating even after losing to rival Holy Innocents’, which moved up one spot to No. 4, and has won five straight. No. 2 St. Francis has won five in a row as well… Landmark Christian illustrates the strength of Region 5. Even though the War Eagle have lost 10 games, at No. 16 they would host a first-round playoff game.

    5. Calhoun County 18-2 11.16
    6. Wheeler County 15-4 10.95

    23. Stewart County 9-6 6.83
    24. Macon County 8-10 6.81

Items of Note: The rating system does not like the public schools in Region 7. Despite a 14-1 record Georgia Military College will most likely need to win the region tournament in order to secure a spot in the top eight and a home playoff game in the first round of the state playoffs. No. 21 Lake Oconee Academy is the only other public school from the region in the top 24.
