The races for the top spots in the region are shaping up for the boys and the girls side of the classification with roughly three weeks left before region tournaments begin.

First, the boys. Below is a glance at the standings for each of the eight regions, showing teams on top and those giving chase.

The highlights? Top-ranked Pace Academy leads Region 5 ahead of two other ranked teams – No. 7 Westminster and No. 8 Lovett – in a talent-rich league. In Region 2, No. 2 Johnson-Savannah leads the league at 11-1, edging No. 6-ranked Windsor Forest (10-2). In Region 7, No. 4 Dawson County leads at 8-0 ahead of unranked North Hall (6-2) and No. 9 Greater Atlanta Christian (5-2). In Region 8, No. 3 Hart County is at the top at 7-1 with No. 5 Franklin County at 6-2.
