Jeff Carlberg is out as head coach at Centennial.
His teams were 3-7, 1-9 and 5-5 in three seasons at a school that has had only one winning season (6-4 in 2007) in the past 10 years.
A Kentucky native, Carlberg had been a defensive coordinator at Lassiter and Alpharetta.
‘’I enjoyed my time here and really loved the community and the kids and will miss them,’’ Carlberg said.
Other openings recently reported include those at Shaw (Kyle Adkins), Athens Academy (Don Chuboff), Banneker (Shannon Williams), Richmond Hill (Josh Eads) and Brunswick (Victor Floyd).
