How the game was won: The powerful offense of the Purple Hurricanes raced out to a 42-0 halftime lead. Tiamon Pennymon and Trevor Lawrence each found the end zone three times a piece in the first half.

Top Performers: Tiamon Pennymon scored three touchdowns and gained 98 yards in the first half to pace the Canes. …Trevor Lawrence threw for 211 yards and scored on two quarterback keepers and added a 33-yard screen pass to Tony Dean to account for his three touchdowns.
